Manzanares is already a planned day trip for us from Madrid June 21 (3 weeks from now). It would have been helpful in this video if gave some restaurant recommendations and talked about how to get there and back on public transportation (bus route 724 I believe). Also how hot will it be?
Hi Steve, we ate at a restaurant called La Reunion de Montaña, in the Plaza Mayor, food is great there. It’s a pity you have to go by bus, cause there os a pastry shop called Domca in a village close by called Manzanares el Real, that’s really good. Transportation as you say 724 from the Plaza de Castilla. As weather end of June is hot , between 30-35 in Madrid, but in Manzanares next to the mountains is better, always 5 degrees les at least.
