Oh my Lord, I cried watching the children play and smile, the beautiful girls at 9:39, the man and woman sitting on a bench in the park who seem to be in love... Where are they now? Where is their future? How dare this monstrous regime in Moscow cause so much pain and suffering....

Horrific to think every person in this video is now affected by a war brought to their world without cause. There are hundreds of faces in this video... laughing, conversing, the young, the old, the newly weds, all living in the moment, enjoying the freedoms we all have the right to enjoy. This could be your city... Putin must be stopped.

I used to watch the live camera on the Desna River in Chernihiv. The beach with all the yellow umbrellas. There was a large heart in the sand, directly in the line of the camera. The river had frozen over, and someone kept up with the large heart in the snow. I had been checking in daily, and then the camera was not there anymore. It's hard to even imagine, that these gentle souls who I would watch on the beach, or the walkway, are now in turmoil. Peace, love, and prayers, being sent out to the Ukraine people.

I thought TH-cam would translate this, but I can't see where to do this. If anyone can translate the above statement, that would greatly be appreciated. With all going on in the world, just know, Ukraine is not forgotten. I still have my Ukrainian flag on my front lawn. It's faded, and has been through all types of weather, here in the US, but nothing compared to what the people of Ukraine have been through. Neighbors still have their flags up, faded also. After a Sunday drive, I saw many more flags, across our state. You're all still in our prayers, for this nightmare to end. Peace. @@АлександрАлександров-ц5ы

Ah canım Aygünüm. Chernihiv'de en azından hatıralarımız var diye sevinirdim. Artık onlar da yok. Her yer bombalandı. Geriye hiçbir şey kalmadı. Sadece sen kaldın. Sen de iyi durumda mısın onu bile bilmiyorum. Kendimi bu gecenin karanlığında iliklerime kadar yalnız hissediyorum. Aslında kendimi, senin yokluğunda her saniye yalnız hissediyorum. Ben varlığımla her zaman seninle olacağım. Sen de her zaman benim kalbimde olacaksın.

Belki videoda bir yerde onu görürüm. O, benim biricik sevgilim, her şeyim. Bana tüm şarkılar, Chernihiv in her yeri seni hatırlatıyor. Seni hep seveceğim. Tüm kalbimle hep sevmeye devam edeceğim.

Not entierly, the video shows mostly the center of the city, which sufferd not so much from the bombings, there are only like a dozen of building that got some damage, mostly non-significant (with the exception of the cinema building, the hotel and a public library for childrens, which were hit directly and almost entirely destroyed). But the outskirts... there are mostly ashes... the aftermath is really painful to watch...

Chernihiv is one of the cities in Ukraine that took advantage of budget decentralisation reform and directs its growing budget to make the city more attractive for tourists. That's why it looks kind of neat. There are plenty of issues in this city, but mainly it is quiet, cozy place to live. You can get a job here and it has low level of crimes. Here are people and activists which are trying to make the city a better place (you can see at 17:11 the founder of Wooden Lace project - Stanislav Ivashchenko - a baseball cap on his head and he is in a black t-shirt with a superscription "Luhans'k is Ukraine" - you can just google "wooden lace of Chernihiv"). On the other hand many cities in Ukraine behaves as if they still live in soviet past and they don't change anything to make their life better and take advantages of any new opportunities which were created lately. I think that this is where those women come from. I think that those are naїve victims who believed in some attractive and easy offer. This is a work for police.
