The plastic piece is for different style rails. the ascend line up has wide track that piece fits on but most brands have switched over to the standard size, was cool see YAKHACKER add the second piece cover all brands

haha my yeti panga bag is essentially a dry bag and not a cooler. It doesn't keep things cold. Only dry.
