I’ve printed out a top mount spool holder and honeycomb storage wall for my P1S so far, next on the list are a touch screen, hardened steel extruder gears and a diamond nozzle along with a hepa filter.
BIQU recommends NOT hooking the Lux and the stock lighting up simultaneously and they no longer include that splitter. It's good you put the LED frame on first because the LUX puts out almost no light. The Panda Jet/Jetpack puts out around 1/4 the air of the stock duct. The extruder and Claw are the same performance as stock. BIQU is just milking the popularity of Bambu.
As for the Panda Jet, I had noticeable improvements in overhang quality with the Jet installed on the stock cowl. I haven't measured the air flow, but the results are noticeable for me and it feels like more air pressure to me on all sides of the print. I had heard some early production runs of the Jet had ducts partially blocked by print dust residue.
There will always be a need for replacement parts and having a 3rd party produce them keeps a company from having a closed source monopoly over them and thus dictating the price. I’m all for what biqu is doing here.
I agree with everything you said except the part about the Panda Jet. In my bridging experiments with stock duct and then the Jet duct installed, I had a very noticeable improvement. I saw a video where it did show a lower amount of pressure coming out of the Panda Jet but what I noticed is it distributes the air better providing better cooling on areas of some printed parts where the original duct wasn't directing enough air in a particular direction. Other than that, I definitely agree with all the other parts being a waste of time. I've tried almost every one of them. The Panda Lux is a special kind of disappointment. The idea is great, but the final product is a big thumbs down.
@@Darknynja2 Completely disagree. PandaLux is one of the first mods I do to my machines. While the light isn't exceptional, it's a HUGE improvement over stock. If you don't plan on adding LED's on a riser, for the price, it's a great upgrade imho.
@@WildRoseBuilds even if they are dictating the price, their prices are extremely good for just the fact that you’re getting parts that you know for a fact are high quality, will fit perfectly, and will keep the overall quality the same throughout the printer with less risk of voiding the warranty
the cryo plate you are show casing is the cryo grip glacier, which is for materials other than pla and petg. there is also the cryogrip frostbite, which is only for petg and pla. both of those plates have much better grip than bambulabs textured pei. which is most notably with petg on the frostbite, which is easy mode, while petg on textured pei plate can be pita.
Silly question, if you get the enclosure kit. Does that technical convert your p1p to a p1s? Meaning all your setting should also be manually changed to p1s?
the panda touch can read the gcode files on the bbl sd card. I'm sure there's a way to send them directly to the touch for storage but it might involve keeping a usb drive installed
The hotend / extruder changes just seem contra-productive to me. The great strength of the Bambu is that they have profiles that just work. When you start changing stuff in this way you basically have to tune stuff yourself to get some benefit, throwing out that main strength.
@WildRoseBuilds sorry then for bother. One of my glue melted in car in summer, other was working as a end cap in led's alu profile - significantly melted
So far the only upgrade I have done to my P1S is I got the E3D Diamondback nozzle. I have the BigTreeTech Revo replacement from a giveaway, it just took too long to get here. Not sure what to do with it now.
And on top of that from my previous experience with my first printer an ender 3, if it works don’t touch it! After the upgrades i did to that printer my 3d prints became awful! And before the upgrades were almost perfect!

The Panda series of upgrades is on sale for a couple more days for black Friday! grab them here: bit.ly/4idLn8r
Thanks for choosing my model of the riser :)
thanks for the great model i think it turned out awesome!

Awesome! i was really bummed that my enclosure kit didn't come with the hepa filter.
Awesome video friend! Subscribed!

do u have any advice for thermal padding/insulating the P1S?
I don't! I assume foil bubble insulation would work good here but I'm not sure what the instillation process would entail
Get some of that automotive insulation with the soft foam and the silver cover that people use as bed insulation on ended 3s and whatnot
Whats your toughts on the panda claw.
I feel mine is a bit noisy
yeah it has a bit of a click to it during retracts. I think applying the supplied grease would fix this.
With the extruder mod does the printer sound louder since the fan is not enclosed ?
I'm going to put a cake, a whole cake, on my A1.
I want a acrylic part cooling fan so I can actually see the upgrades
when i had a p1s the most important mod was a better guide for the tube going in the printhead... the tube always hit the top glass...
Thanks for the video nicely done. If the Panda Touch showed and kept your prints it would be worth it but it doesn’t.

Are they called upgrades if they really don't improve print quality or speed?
90% seems useless?
Hot chamber + hot led + hot glue = nope
hot glue has a melting point of >110C, if my chamber is that hot i have bigger problems to deal with lol

Could sell it to me ;)
You can almost buy another printer with the money you spend on upgrades
And on top of that from my previous experience with my first printer an ender 3, if it works don’t touch it! After the upgrades i did to that printer my 3d prints became awful! And before the upgrades were almost perfect!
the cable chain and the riser mostly took care of that issue for me!
Biqu ad, boo!

Why would it not take the same amount of time to heat up? That's just silly to believe otherwise. Somebody failed science class.
it's LAB, not LABS OMFG! Stop this stupid mistake!
This is really painful to watch. Why did you by a Bambu printer when theres loads of other brands avaiable for printertinkers like you seem to be?
i've tinkered on all of them, it was only a matter of time before i had to tinker on this one haha
Why not tinker with them? They are VERY popular so also adds up to more views
You're spending way too much money on a cheap shitty printer.
whats your choice for the best printer?
RGB is so gay
