The Partisan's Song (English Lyrics)

- "The Partisans Song", also known as "Through Valleys and Over Hills," is a popular Soviet and Russian revolutionary song regarding the heroism of the Red Army partisans displayed during the Russian Civil War, performed to the melody of a classic tsarist march. The lyrics recall the defeats of the atamans and voivodes who served as the agents of tsarism against Soviet power and the last stand of the White Army who sought to restore the tsar at Primorsky Krai.

I have been looking for an older version of this song for some time thank you for such an extremely rare version! Long live the memories of the Partisans
Its originally a song of the white army btw
@@lifeofboris3941 the creator of this song joined the red army tho
White Army had a "March of the Drozdovsky Regiment", but the original was a "March of the Siberian Riflemen".
The text of the "March of the Siberian Riflemen" was created by Russian writer Vladimir Gilyarovsky - our comrade, he wrote his books about hard life of Russian workers and peasants. There's no monarchstl or imperial ideas in this marsch - vice versa it tells about Russian soldiers defending their motherland so this march has no ideological connotation. "Through Valleys and Over Hills" is a good version of a good song.

Ah yes my favorute red army song, good times
There was an old movie ( 1930s i think) about the bolshevik campaign on the far east and the content of this song , found it on TH-cam some years ago , does anyone knows the name of the movie?
I suppose it's too late, but don't you mean "По долинам и по взгорьям"?
@@dmitrygerasimov7869 my reply seems to have been deleted, maybe because i posted a link lol ,
the movie's name is: Волочаевские дни "Volochaev Days" just type it on TH-cam search and you will find it.

Please. Please tell me the name of the movie used in this video.

March of siberian riflemen doesn't actually created by the white army it actually created by the time of russian empire the song was widely singed and referenced as white army but it originated in Russian Empire then the Reds Adapted the verse and changed the lyrics for their song
