First fish was goldfish in 2004 that time I was in class 4, it lived for about 1.5 years in a 1.5 ft tank ,though I wanted a yellow parrot that I saw in a shop and felt in love with, but couldn't afford that because that point I was too young to collect money for a 200 rs fish. This hobby is important to me especially the joy of fish keeping I can't describe that in words.❤️❤️❤️

Some 3-4 months back I started with 2 goldfishes (1 fantail named MADHAV & 1 comet named GOPAL) in an open 8 inch bowl with a small light on top and a beautiful male Betta which I bought 2 weeks back (Blue colored with red fins and red tail which I named NANDU) in another closed 1 litre plastic tank with no lights. I had several doubts about taking care of my fishes but after watching your videos, I started changing their water periodically, started using sponge filter with oxygen pump, bought them good quality food products etc. And after changing GOPAL's and MADHAV's food (which I started from first week of January 2022) I could see that they are much more active, they are growing bigger in size and are much more friendly then before. Now I am thinking of buying a 2 feet x 1 feet x 1 feet tank for them in April for them. And also a 1 feet x 1 feet x 1 feet tank for NANDU in near future. Its all because of your videos. Thank you very very very much sir. May god bless you with loads and loads of happiness 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hello Mayur Sir, I am Mohit from Hyderabad. My first fish was Goldfish in 2014. I loved the way they swim moving there entire body and there fancy fins looked beautiful. It was with us for almost 3.5 years. After that I stopped keeping fish. Taking inspiration from your videos and your guidance I have started my hobby recently in 2019. I am keeping small fishes like Guppies, Tetras, few cleaning crew along with apple snails. I have a tank of 75Lts. I want to start planting and keep live plants. I don't know how to start. I tried the way you have explained in one of your videos (planting heavy from the beginning) but after a week the plants started to melt and die. I used the products that are recommended by you. It will be great if you can help me with planting.

I have put 4 Tinfoil Barb Rosy, 4 Tiger Barb, 4 Koi Carp and 2 small Rainbow Shark as suggested by shopkeeper. Now slowly with your videos I got started to know this hobby. So please suggest, is this combination is ok and what kind of fisheses I can add.

I started my hobby 3 months back, my first fish is common gold fish. with 2 feet tank. then i have expanded it from bare bottom to pebbles and added canister filter with bio media. Onwards changed from Pebbles to wood with river stone, white sand and money plant. Recently i have added 2 orange platy and 2 brisalnose.
I would like you to comments if this is good setup for all fish or i have revoke or change something.

When I was 5 years old, I went to fish market with my father, there were many live fishes , carbs, dad used to bought some live fishes and I kept them in small plastic ar glass jars. Later on When I become 9 years, I bought some pencil fish , guppies mollys and kept them in a plastic jar, I always tried to keep any fish that I bought in their natural habitat , then I learn to breed Molly and guppies also bought an Aquarium, after few years when I got mobile , the first thing i search was how many fresh water fishes are there in aquarium, l learn, read about defferent freshwater fishes, watched a ton of youtube videos on fish keeping. And time goes , now I'm 19 years old, I have kept all fishes that are available in our city Siliguri, 3 years ago I started keeping planted tanks, and day by day I am leaning many new things and after so many time, experiences , fishes , I still release that there are so many things about fish keeping which are unknown to us and the the search of the unknowns willl never end in this hobby.

I started with a few golden and black carps in a 65 litre tank.. returned them in a month and got 4 Oscars (2 lemon and 2 black and golden) .. Added a black and white catfish.... I then added a pair of parrot fishes, one of them was very aggressive, ate one of my lemon fishes... I returned both the parrots..
After a couple of months my catfish and Oscars grew quite a lot and I fell in love with a flowerhorn...
It stayed with me for a year, got I'll, it couldn't balance itself, stayed inverted, couldn't swim and died... It's been 5 years now, I was so heartbroken after the death of my flowerhorn that I haven't gone back to the hobby since then

BUT sadly all of them past away , I don’t know what was the reason. I was 9 years at that time so I was so sad that I quit fish keeping for years ! I returned in 2019 and till now I am quite perfect at keeping them . I have Parrots , Oscars , Ciclids and a alligator gar.

Right now I think I have a few guppies, molly some koi I am assuming, 2 sharks (catfish) and 2 pleco which I can not see in the tank as I have 3-4 hard surface covers. Could you please guide me with that type of fish should I keep
