- This little 6" skiing gnome is super easy to make and is perfect for a tiered tray. If you like winter gnomes and no sew gnomes, this is a perfect beginner gnome. You can customize this little guy so many different ways. He is a perfect little Christmas gnome. I hope that you enjoy the video.

Why oven baked clay vs air dry?
I just like that it cures faster. When I am on a time schedule to do a video, I need clay that is ready in 25 minutes. You can use air dry clay for this one. Thanks, Patti

Thank you. I back them in stages so that I don't mess up the other parts as I am blending the clay together. You could probably do them in one step, but once one section is backed, you can add to without mashing it.
I'm back! Patti, he's so precious! I could totally see him in a bunch of different beard colors with different colors of fabric skiing here and there throughout a Christmas tree too!
