Mine is working great with chicken eggs. I accidentally changed it to goose eggs during lock down and this reset the day counter. Unfortunately, there's no way to manually reset it. There are also some symbols along the top of the screen. I assume they relate to the humidity, temperature but not sure about all of them. This is my first time hatching and I'm very happy with this incubator.
I got the "Smart Incubator" with multiple brands off of amazon. Works wonders for 24 jumbo quail eggs. trying pheasants next. A simple pepsi bottle for the water container does wonders.
That was surprising! All I could think about was the NR 360 as this started with all the issues I have with it in my climate and this incubator surpasses everything I had issues with. It would be a better back up for me if I have problems with the Borotto I now use. Great review Terry
@@CoturnixCorner I hope that hatch goes well too. I know the 360 dries the membrane as they try to hatch out on the outer edges of the incubator. I thought this one would as well but your hatch looked good.
You don’t mention spraying the eggs during lockdown, the instructions say to spray the eggs with warm water. How else would you get the humidity to increase?
I messed aound with the buttons and the temperature wont go above 33.9c. Can you tell me how to reset the incubator temperature and number of days? Thank you.
This was a great video. I just purchased this incubator to incubate my first Farm baught Quail eggs. The humity level on it doesn't seem to want to go above 42% during the main incubation period. Should I be worried?
It’s a copy of Brinsea 24 advance but in addition it got humidity monitor and much cheaper. Question is how long it’s going to last?. I would have bought one but already got Brinsea one
Cute one, seems to do da job too. 19 out of 20 is spectacular. Listing says it can handle 48 quail eggs. If I had seen this I would have gotten it instead of my $500 Brinsea!
Good review. Seems you had a good hatch rate. Did you happen to check if you lose power dose it come back on by itself or not? You know cuz i never lose power during a hatch, lol.
I can also say in day 16 we lost and had no electricity at all for 1.5 hours before I was able to get our generator going. I was very nervous that my chicks would have aborted or that It wouldnt remember where it was in the cycle however power back on returned to where it left off and today (day 20) I have one hatched and many piping so yeah its great.
Was looking at this unit on amazon, but it doesnt let me enter the promo code. Best I can get is an 8% off coupon. Is there something I need to do to get the promo to work?
What should the humidity be set at through lock down with this one? I find it confusing the way this one is set up … 3 digits… should it be 650 or 065?

thanks, I just set another batch of eggs, see how it goes

bought this and a brinsea today can't wait to try it out
Thanks for the review, looks interesting
thanks for watching
It's close to the brinsea dome , (which I love) will say I like the styrofoam box part that goes over the top.
I thought that was pretty ingenious

nah but you need the 55-60% at the last days
Do you feel like this incubator can handle different phases of egg groups? Like 1 group and then a few days later add more?
What size drawer liner? do you have a link?

I'm on my third hatch with it now, time will tell.

Look at the Brinsea 24, looks like this is a knockoff of that one.
How would you set the 48 eggs in the 24 egg tray?
Im so lost idk how to set the temperature
Thanks
I am curious about spraying during hatching, what can you advise about that? I don’t open the incubator once chicks have pipped
I do not spray or open the incubator until all chicks have hatched and are fully dry.
@@CoturnixCorner do you spray at all? Is there enough humidity during lockdown?
How do you remove the factory installed film under the motor and fan?
I'm not sure, that's question for the manufacturer.

Yes, it does

That's a big incubator 😊
