Psalm 24: 1, 5 The LORD is King of earth’s domain, The world and all that dwell there-in. Rejoice, O Zion’s sons and daughters, for it stands firm by his decrees; he founded it up-on the seas, established it upon the waters. Lift up your heads, you arch and gate; O ancient doors rise up and wait. Let him come in, the King of glory. Who is this King, in glory great? The LORD of hosts! Him we await. The LORD, he is the King of glory. Psalm 43: 3, 4 Send forth, O God of my salvation, your light and truth to be my guide and lead me to my destination: your holy hill and habitation, where I with you will safely hide in shelter you provide. Then, at your sacred altar standing, My hands to you in prayer I’ll raise. With harp and voice, in worship blending, your courts resound; while psalms, ascending to you my highest joy, bring praise for all your wondrous ways. Psalm 108: 1, 2 My heart is steadfast, O my God. Your mercy I will ever laud; your name I will in song extol, make melody with all my soul. Awake, harp and lyre, awake, for I will urge the dawn to break. I’ll sing your glory to the nations, your praise among their populations. Great is, O God, your steadfast love, far higher than the heavens above. Your faithfulness soars to the skies. Above the heavens, O God, arise; reveal your splendour and shine forth your glory over all the earth. Now show your might and save your nation; to those you love, grant liberation. Psalm 42: 1, 3, 5 As the hart, about to falter, In its trembling agony, Panteth for the brooks water, So my soul doth pant for Thee. Yea, athirst for Thee I cry; God of life, O when shall I Come again to stand before Thee In Thy temple, and adore Thee? O my soul, why art thou grieving, Why disquieted in me? Hope in God, thy faith retrieving; Let Him still thy refuge be. I shall yet extol His grace For the comfort of His face; He has ever turned my sorrow Into gladness on the morrow. But the Lord will send salvation, And by day His love provide; He shall be my exultation, And my song at eventide. On His praise e'en in the night I will ponder with delight, And in prayer, transcending distance, Seek the God of my existence. Psalm 146: 1, 5 Praise the LORD who reigns forever! O my soul, bring him your praise. I will bless my God and Maker And extol him all my days. Praises to my God I’ll sing; all my life I’ll praise my King. He, the LORD, protects the strangers; orphans, widows He sustains. He will make the wicked stumble. Praise him who forever reigns. Zion’s children, sing his laud. Hallelujah, praise your God. Psalm 150: 1, 2, 3 Hallelujah! Praise the LORD in his house with one accord Praise him in the wide extent of his spacious firmament. Sing and shout his praise uprightly. His unbounded greatness praise and extol his wondrous ways; Praise him for his deeds so mighty. Praise him with the trumpet blast; praise his glory unsurpassed. Praise him with the harp and lute; praise him with the strings and flute. Worship him in exultation and with tambourine and dance praise his glorious excellence. Praise his name with jubilation. Let the clashing cymbals ring to the praise of God our King. With the clanging cymbals’ noise come before him and rejoice. Let the breath of all things living praise him with a mighty sound. Let your voices shake the ground. Praise the LORD! Sing HALLELUJAH! Psalm 92: 2, 3, 6 With song and music blending, let me your praise recite; let harp and lute unite in harmony unending. My thankfulness expressing, I praise your deeds of might; I sing of my delight, your faithfulness confessing. Your works are great and splendid. O how profound your thought! The senseless fool cannot begin to understand it. Though evil men may flourish, though like the grass they sprout, LORD, you shall root them out. They shall forever perish. The just will he remember, to them his favour show; they like the palm tree grow, like Lebanon’s fine timber. Those whom the LORD will cherish within his house he plants. There God his blessing grants: within his courts they flourish. Psalm 80: 1, 8 O Israel’s Shepherd, hear our pleading, you who all Joseph's flock are leading, you throned above the cherubim! Shine forth before your Ephraim; Show Benjamin, Manasseh light! Come, save us, God! Stir up your might. O then we shall forsake you never! Revive us, and we shall forever call on your name, before you bow. LORD God of hosts, restore us now and cause your face to shine on us. LORD, save us in your faithfulness
I have this LP record but it is quite worn with a lot of pops and ticks. It is good to hear a cleaner recording.
Absolutely beautiful would be lovely to have the words to be able to sing along to.
