Chapter 2 is: Stalker, Red Hands Never Fade and The Sacrifice. Chapter 3 is: Sinister Smiles, Dull Knives, and Queen of the Murder Scene. Chapter 4 is: P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C., Hunter and The End( Stars Always seen to Fade). Basically and briefly tells the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to murder and madness. The songs are told from the point of view of either the young lady's inner psychopath or her good side, which has a conscience - until it does not. This is a fantastic Album by the Ladies and show off their absolute Brilliance as song writers and musicians.. This is there 2nd Album from 2018...5 years ago...still teens, DPA/TWA
Dust to Dust is bass heavy because it was one of the few songs Ale started the writing process on. Real treat at Aug show in Toronto Dany had the flu so Ale sang lead on 2 songs.

The recorded voice is Rudy, their manager performing the role of the preacher. Dust to Dust is the introductory track of the Queen of the Murder Scene album, whichis a concept album about a girl who is obsessed with a guy who doesn't acknowledge her. Over the course of trying to gain his attention she loses her grasp on reality and decends into madness. Rudy is saying something to the effect that brothers, your salvation isn't given, it is earned. Choke is from their latest release, Error. It was their first Single from that album and it also appears ont he Mayday EP which consisted of six songs that also appear on the Error album. To date, it is one of their most popular songs in terms of streams and downloads. It received a decent amount of airplay in some US markets and Canada, and also was featured on Sirius XM. There is also a smash-up version that Grandson and Zero 9:36 did that garnered The Warning some attention with their fans. Ale really doesn't like singing lead or taking the spotlight. She will sing lead in concerts if Dany or Pau need to rest their voices, but she has never done lead vocals for a studio recording. Whether she ever will is debatable. It is difficult singing and playing an instrument at the same time, especially bass or drums. Often the lead melody contrasts to the intonations, beat or note of the rhythm section. Ale has proven she is capable of doing it, but she prefers not to.

Almost every song by The Warning has a context as it delivers an insightful message which can only be understood by analyzing the lyrics. Plus at Teatro they have selected songs from their 2nd LP, a concept album called Queen of the Murder Scene & their 1st studio album XXI Century Blood. Dust to Dust is not about The Warning discussing Mexico. It is the prelude to Queen of the Murder Scene. It talks about resurrection that ends with Dany's wail which is how the album, comprising of 4 chapters of 3 songs each, ends. Concidentally Pau sings lead in that finale as well. At Teatro the girls played - 5 songs from QOTMS published in 2018 - Queen of the Murder Scene, Ugh, Dull Knives, Dust to Dust & Hunter. The bass line of 'Dust to Dust' gets me every time. It was even more impressive years ago, when I (as being bassist myself) discovered it was composed and played by 12-13 year old player.
Funny but it was like my least favorite song on the album. But to be honest I love it. The bass line is special and I really enjoy it. Pau singing is always a treat. I don't think.it is a song a first time listener will get though. It has a deep message and most don't even remember the lyrics.

"D2D"... The show that these girls put on is tremendous. You can't understand the message of the song's lyrics without putting into context that it's part of the concept album "Queen Of The Murder Scene" that tells a passionate and tragic story. From what you can see, this is one of the songs they have the most fun with. The tiny choreographies, which go unnoticed by many, between Ale and Dany and also between Ale and Pau are a sign of evolution and confidence when interpreting this great original composition. The powerful drums, the perfect bass, the contagious guitar riff, Ale's harmonious voice, Pau's great voice, and Dany's tremendous voice are recurring themes that are already well known and recognized by all. I insist that this, or "Survive", will eventually become the first TW classic… This is because it's one of the old songs still in force that receives the most success and approval. There's no mystery about Ale. She doesn't sing lead because she doesn't want to. End of story. She will if Dany is sick and needs relief but otherwise she wants nothing to do with lead singing. A true introvert.
That's the thing about The Warning.....they don't have a bad song. A hint:We yawn because our oxygen level is low. It is an involuntary reaction to breath deeper. Just take a few DEEP breaths in and the yawns will stop.
