The Battle In The Monsoon - A film by Navin M Raheja

The efforts which the forest department makes in keeping the national park secure from external threats, including poachers. We are sure that millions of viewers would like to see how the park fares during monsoons.
Wilderness Days is a weekly program on wildlife and environment which is telecast on Doordarshan National and EPIC Channel. Already, over 112 episodes have gone on air non-spot. The program captures the beauty of Indian wildlife as also various critical issues which affect our environment at large.

There are some most important decisions must be taken by government.
1) forest policy should be to make 40% of indias landmass under natural forest where mountains not less than 80% should be under forests .
2) forest protection and vigilance must be done by professional paramilitary forces and poachers must be killed on site .
3)All forest of cpujtry must be brought under ambit of reserves and national parks .
4)all forest from length till breath be interconnected by wildlife corridors .
5) all encroachment from forest land must be cleared up as soon as possible.
6)Some budget scheme for eco tourism should be brought so that common and poor people also can see and connect with this green heritage .
