i ordered the silver surfer for 75 bucks and free shipping cant wait to get it.amazing books!man if they ever finish with the silver age and print something like Millers run on Daredevil it will be awesome
Man, I wish more young people appreciated these Comics. I saw weird post where Guy basically dismissed the Lee-Kirby era of Fantastic Four saying it’s “100% white bread” which is just not true. As a Gen Z adult it just feels weird to live among a generation that doesn’t appreciate what comes before.
I know Toth did pencils over Kirby Lay outs. Lee knew Kirby couldn't do all the books, that said HE WANTED KIRBY TO. It was an odd choice and would have been a lot different if they let Toth just cook.
The Taschens look awesome but I already have the omnis for everything they've done so far and can't financially justify double dipping. The omnis do retain the letter pages but I wish they included the Checklist/Stan's Soapbox pages like the Taschens.
@@davidosborn6714 I agree with that! I’ve been selling off each omnibus when the Taschen version comes out and putting that money towards the Taschen edition. And I agree! I love the Stan’s Soapbox pages!
Can't pass up that half off sale, everytime they send me that email I make an effort to get my hands on one. Picked up the Fantastic Four but I'm really hoping for that second volume of Spidey to hit sales next time Also you're crazy for not keeping those slick boxes 🤣 they're my display holder, gotta protect those pricey bois
Thanks for watching! And yea, that would be great. I think the first 20 or issues of the Uncanny X-Men era starting with GS #1 would be an obvious Bronze Age choice!
Fantastic overview. Thank you for doing it 🙏
@@Dying_Breed_Collectors of course! Thanks for watching!

Oh, man! Yea! Miller’s Daredevil run would be AMAZING in this format.
Sounds liek TASCHEN needs to make more of these. I hope they start sending you stuff, I have bought two of their books from these videos.
Yes, they do! And I’d appreciate if Taschen did a partnership with me! I love their product.

@@The_ConenGifre I agree whole heartedly! I love golden, silver and Bronze Age comics.

Yea! I kind of wish Toth just did a few issues of a run similar to Wally Wood’s short run on Daredevil.
@@TaylorTalksComics I do enjoy Stan Lee, but this was a major flaw
@@fireboy312002Agreed!

@@FearMonarch Yea! That annual sale is great!
And I can’t help it haha. I don’t like the look of boxed books on my shelf. I want to see those SPINES.
Great video. I am unfortunately not a fan of silver age comics. If they ever do something in the bronze age ... I would be tempted.
