I had a V8 Pilot…. and the heat build up under the bonnet in the summer….. would cause fuel evaporation on the carb which was stuck on the top of the engine….. body shape is similar to you Austin…..how’s your thermostat?……sounds nice but loud for me too. Ear plugs would have temp sorted😉…..but it didn’t break down did it 🤷🏻♂️…..😎👌🏽 louvres could be a help too.
No breakdowns so I can’t be too mad at it! I can handle v8 loud but this is just a horrendous Japanese trumpet for hours on end 😂 Might be time for the v8 swap 😂
Ace viewing as per normal. Ngl, little more show clips would of been cool but also enjoying the quick, short videos aswell as don't have to get too involved to watch. Been binging these inbetween work
Looks like the gear lever needs about a foot taking off it going by the ergonomic way you were shifting.... Not knocking your car though, it's brilliant.
@@dropworkscustoms there's no middle ground at Goodwood .. last year was a million degrees and blistering sun, this year was soggy. Still, if they weren't pulling cars out of the carpark with the tractors, it's not the worst it's ever been! 😂
@@dropworkscustoms id say maybe worn synchros but 4th is direct drive and the quietest when the synchros are bad. I know cause that's how the previous trans died when all the oil leaked out. Wouldn't worry about it tho. Mx5 trans are cheap. Not worth rebuilding or replacing till youve got more than one neutral. Loving the builds tho, cheers from Alaska.

The Saturday was pretty good weather wise but the Friday looked horrific!

You’re exactly right, I spent the whole time sweating last year and this year hiding from the rain 😂😂
What does the gearbox sound like? My 93 LE sounds like a can of rocks whenever I'm coasting in any gear but fifth or downshifting.
On occasion its noisy in 4th but its very sporadic. Going in to second is a bit crunchy when it’s cold
