After years of editing videos for me and not knowing what to do for life, I decided to go on the adventure of being a professional editor, I just left school and I'm out of my life, and after losing my faith several times with my family about editing, watching this video made me have the feeling of continuing and not giving up, even though it is difficult without even having started studying, I'm going to start a course and go on editing to learn more, because It's with editing that I can feel free to expose all that creativity that is accumulated inside me, even though I know that I will have to work for other people, what work is not like that? I hope it's worth it, that's it thanks for that little spark of hope and it's time to go back to vegas, a comment from a Brazilian very distant from his dream, wish me success!! Fun fact, Premiere crashed not only once but TWICE while exporting this video. Never ending struggle of beng an editor 😆
Maybe switch to Davinci Resolve?

@@guidokleijn To be honest I wanted to have a very big one so that I don't have to scroll around much. But my budget was super limited and my computer is pretty weak too. So 4k was not an option, ultrawide was way too expensive. So I got a 32 inch AOC monitor as a b-stock (damaged packaging) for 140€. Was a very good value for money for me and quality-wise I cannot say anything against it, but mainly cause I've never worked on a really good one :P
@@FlorianLandStil learning Resolve, but I really like it. Stable, but a bit heavy on your pc, specswise.
Crashing premiere Solution:
Save the project every 30 second.
Wait You will end up with alot of files that u can delete after u are done with the Project.

Or when a client asks you to work on something and you ask for the footage and for some reason they keep on sending more and more footage even after they already sent “all of it” ....... and the deadline is getting closer!!! I guess it makes it more fun....

This was far too much like every day for me 😂I'm glad I'm not the only one who tries to wake up at 7 am but consistently wakes up at 10-11am.

How much do you get paid
I edit call of duty videos 😂 but I’m currently editing a couple clips of nature. Hopefully I can live up to my standards.
I’m an Instagram editor and I also use ae and it actually is hard too but you actually have a job and I just do it for fun so I can’t exactly relate

I see in the Eula of some of the video editing tools that it is for private use only. So if I want to sell my created videos or put ads on them I would need a software that paid all the 3rd party licensences for you (e. g. mpeg). Does somebody know where to find such a video editing software that costs under 300 bucks?

Thanks for the compliment, man! But I definitely don't consider myself necessarily talented. I just learn relatively quickly, obsess on watching tutorials and I basically didn't do anything else over the last like 15 months but editing videos 😀

The summary is: I made my first ever video about 2.5 years ago, through 2017 I made the highlight compilation videos for Jon Olsson and exactly a year ago I decided I'm gonna do this youtube thing myself, quite everything else and booked a ticket to Thailand to start making travel videos. Then I send a DM each to Warner Nickerson and the Team from Epidemic Sound and those were the first real gigs I got paid for as being a videographer/editor.
