    Amazing cover dude! I've been looking for a version I could use to learn this song and I like this one. Could you tell me the strumming pattern you used?

      Thank you! I never really think too much about strumming patterns, I just mess around until I think I have something that fits the rythym of the song. I think for this one it was mostly ↓↓↓↓↑↑↓↓↓↑
      For the G minors I played ↓↓↑↑↓ then for the first 2 G minors in the instrumental bridge I played all down strokes for a bit of emphasis. I'm sure if you get the timing of the chord changes right you will sound great with any strumming pattern. Hope this video helps and have fun learning!

    is there any spaces between the strumming pattern? i tried it on my ukelele, it doesnt sound the same. do you have any tips?

    • @musicalmicrowaveukulele
      @musicalmicrowaveukulele  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The strumming pattern I play is mostly ↓↓↓↓↑ ↑↓ ↓ ↓↑
      I think I played the strumming a bit too fast as I was nervous in one of my first videos. It could be played ↓ ↓ ↑ ↑↓ ↓ ↓↑
      The G minors I played ↓ ↓↑ ↑↓ then for the first 2 G minors in the instrumental bridge I played all down strokes for emphasis.
      I definitely wouldn't worry about sounding like I did in the video as I would play it a bit differently today. My only tip would be to find a pattern that you feel comfortable playing, I never plan the patterns, I just feel them out. I play a very similar pattern for most of my songs unless the song really doesn't work with it. Hope this helps!
