every time I watch another video from you I realize more and more how underrated you are! As a big UConn fan myself, I am extremely excited to see what Sarah will bring to our team. I think the problems you discussed about her game are accurate but I think if anyone is going to help her fix those problems, it's UConn. It can be a really good thing or a really bad thing when your main problem is athleticism. If she improves her athleticism, I think she will eventually reach the point of 1st team all american and future wnba lottery pick. If she gets worse or stays the same athletically, I would project her to be where you have her because defense will be a consistent hole. Thank you for doing a vid on Sarah and please do more freshmen! (maybe even Allie Ziebell or Morgan Cheli 👀)
It’s gone be interesting to see how she fit in UConn play style I feel she’s more of a Jonquel Jones type of player who can shoot better then JJ but is weaker in the paint then JJ if that makes sense
She’s not weaker in the paint she’s very good in the post can finish over either shoulder has a floater and turn around fadeaway jumper. She just also is lights out from three too. But even Geno said she’s finishes around the basket better than most freshman post UConn has had.
@@RustyLou18South Carolina fans still mad she snubbed them 😂 saying she’s weak in the paint is laughable considering I still haven’t seen Joyce Edwards take a jump shot.
If she's a 3pt shooter, the paint should be WIND OPEN for everyone on the floor. She could be a MASSIVE PROBLEM going forward. I can't wait for the season to start.
Once Sarah gets comfortable, after several games are under her belt and she catches her stride, I believe it will become apparent that Uconn has landed another player as impactful as Paige. That is a mouthful, but I'm convinced it's going to happen.
You look like a Steve Harvey show reject in your profile picture talking about an 18 year old it’s giving you live in South Carolina 😂go to bible study
If Morgan plays and does well against ranked teams it's going to be close...very close. She's going to be used I believe the same way Alliyah Edwards was used Her pick and rolls will be a lot smoother. With a big lineup against the press Morgan or Paige will have to bring the ball up. Games to watch this season Notre Dane and South Carolina.
@@maxpower247 Thank YOU, Strong can't play defense like Joyce and when Sarah is guarded by players with SIZE and speed, those 3 pointers will NOT be made.
@@maxpower247 Making a video about Sarah Strong before she’s played one College game to down her and allow your comment section to do the same while you, join in, is nasty work. Do we really need to have the athleticism vs. skill discussion when it comes to basketball? Joyce Edwards literally scores on offensive rebounds and layups. Mind you we still see Joyce throwing layups over the rim like be serious. She’s Angel Reese. I still haven’t seen her take a jumpshot. No midrange no turn around fadeaways and definitely no three pointers. So if you are going to highlight the quote on quote holes in Sarah’s game do the same for Joyce because we can do that to. UConn fans weren’t the ones chanting Joyce Edwards name during the recruitment process last time I checked… talked about Sarah’s dribbling like Joyce can dribble any better lol. When South Carolina plays actual competition with size Joyce’s game will be exposed because she only can score in one way. If you wanna say she’s better now defensively because of speed and athleticism right now fine, but Sarah is already a three level scorer so the offensive conversation between them isn’t one. She will be developed quite well under Geno Auriemma. Geno literally called her one of the most impressive freshman that have ever come to UConn. Do we need to compare the talent all-time between SC and UConn to understand what kind of praise that is, cause we can. and I promise you both programs all-time talent wise aren’t giving the same thing. But we can run it down if you want to. You also are the same man who said UConn wouldn’t make the final four last season with only six rotational players so your acumen is clearly askew.
I wouldn't be penciling her into the UCONN starting lineup just yet. If she has defensive holes, Geno won't start her. Geno loves to RUN off his DEFENSE. If she doesn't run and her defense is suspect, she will have to be incredible on offense to get significant minutes on a team that has a lot of experience and talent. I would love to be watching their practices right now -- must be some serious battles going on. Remember that they have Jana and Ice as well as an embarrassment of wealth in guards and wings. I bet you the biggest thing they are pushing her on right now is conditioning.
@@josephpullaro3159 Maybe. I haven't seen her against UCONN level talent yet, so it would be crazy for me to say definitively. All I know is Geno puts defense above offense, so she will need to play solid defense...
Saw her play all through high school and all those supposed flaws she had well against the likes of Joyce Edwards and Camden she dominated on both ends of the court. Just like they underestimated Charles Barkley, you see falsely this slow plodding player because of her body type. She is quick, agile combined with being sound fundamentally more than any other player in her class. Her exceptional footwork, which is one of her biggest strengths but you failed to have mention as well, is crucial to both her offense and her defense. Your prejudice concerning body types like Sarah’s betrays your judgement and analysis. See Audi Cooks and Madison Booker as she is Audi and Madison but better. But then again with your prejudice suppose you think those two are too slow as well.
She is as she dominated Edwards and Camden when they played last year. Everyone makes the same mistake like they did with with Charles Barkley - her body type has her stereotyped as being slow and plodding when she and Sir Charles are anything but
@ So can she as I remember Barkley at Auburn picking up his pizza at the end of the game at court side which he ordered at halftime. Barkley came in like gangbusters in the NBA at first being considered too small, too slow, out of shape round mound of rebound. The same misconception holds true for Sarah.

Sarah is not just basketball talented but incredibly mature, articulate and talented for a kid her age. What a welcome addition for Geno.

I know she’s Alison’s daughter, but her shot looks so much like her moms. I watched her play for four years at Harvard and she was lethal.

There's not a single player on UConn's current roster that can come near to A. Edwards, nope.
We will see . I seen Jana play.
I predict that she will be the 2nd leading scorer and 3rd team all american
Third team AA, I agree.
