I also don't want to get married. I'm not saying that people that are married are less happy than people like me who preferred solitude. It's just that I really enjoyed things like this, eating alone, drinking and watching tv alone, or just do nothing in silence. ❤️

This may just be language differences but to be telling Bambam he doesn't have a family is so weird. He does have a family but he just lives by himself. He carved out his own space tailored to him and he can enjoy his own company. Of course this isn't his life 365 days a year but to be comfortable alone is a beautiful thing.

Honestly, even married people need to have time by themselves, you can’t be constantly around the people you love, you have to have independence too. I think that’s why a lot of couples are unhappy because they are constantly together and feel like they have to do everything together. To be honest, even the idea that couples need to have the same bedroom is weird to me, I think personal space is important, you can still enjoy nights together but I think a lot of people would do better if they also had those boundaries. Also, I don’t think BamBam choosing solitude right now in his life is ‘pathetic’ as that man said, which was kinda rude imo, I think it’s quite nice to be able to be in your own presence. A lot of people can’t be by themselves because they are uncomfortable with their own being so they constantly seek distractions from other people, forms of media, etc.
Why is it couples having the same bedroom weird for you? 🤔 It's not like they are together all the time (especially for working married couples).
@@blinckira4407 because I feel like personal space is important and most importantly alone time. Even if you do work you are still either working with or for other people and doing something most likely unrelated to what you actually enjoy so you don’t actually have time for yourself. Idk, personally I’d like to have my own room if I ever get married and enjoy the company of my partner in that way only when we choose to.
I think some people can't seem to understand that there are some people that are more comfortable living by themselves and are happily living in solitude where on the other hands most people seek to be in relationships because they want to fill that void of loneliness. Which in my opinion can sometimes become very toxic later down the line especially if your just jumping from one relationshipsto another. "If you can't be happy being by yourself, how can you expect to be happy in a relationship?"
@@2FullMoons that explains it, you're not married yet. But then again, you have your own personal preference, it would be better if you share the same preference with your partner because the way i see it, it may create relationship issues in the long run.
i agree with the bedroom thing! as i started questioning social constructs (do i need to get married? do i need to have children?), i also came across stories of couples who were happier when they had their own bedrooms. which made me question: do couples have to share a bedroom? and i realized that if i ever get married, i'd like to have separate rooms. you can decorate it however you want, you can cool off separately if you have an argument, and you can have "sleepovers", which might make the relationship feel more special, as if you're still dating each other.
i think that guy was rude too, but i guess he was just trying to make himself feel better? doesn't excuse his behavior tho. i was so touched by the woman who said bam had deep self-love for himself and not to judge, she's a real one.

There's truly a time for everything. Being comfortable with Yourself & enjoying Your own company, will make a better partner if You choose to marry. You have to Love Yourself before You can love others. Marriage shouldn't be "finding Your other 1/2", but 2 whole people joining together as a team. Don't look for Your happiness in others, jobs or possessions; Choose to be happy!!

I'm married with my High school sweetheart (dated 5 yrs, married for 15) and we always try to have our own alone time. How do you take care of yourself mentally, emotionally and physically if you do not give yourself the time, self-care is so important, you do not have to loose yourself in married life, you are still an individual.

I wonder why people feel sorry for me just because I’m living alone. They thought that my life is so lonely and bored because I don’t have a partner or housemates. I actually enjoy living alone and rarely feel bored. I could sleep and be lazy all day because there’s nobody around. Lol.

Even now living with friends in university and coming back to home livingwith my family, I still think that living alone is the best. I suddenly not good at doing things when living w my friends bcs people hv different perception and opinions so I don't like it when ppl ordering me do things / saying what I should and shouldn't do and having to wear proper at home. The best time for me to hv my own moment when living w my friends is when all of them are still sleeping. I woke up at 7 bcs I want to enjoy the silence and the emptiness. Having friends and family is good. Socialise w others, laughing and all but as an introvert, the energy drain so fast that I feel overwhelming after that. I don't like too much drama in my life /smthg that stress me out bcs of unnecessary feelings n Bitterness from family/friends. So I do think that living alone is the most absolute amazing thing that can happen to me. I will feel lonely but I love that. In my whole life, I've been always living w others (boarding school, huge family and now living at an apartment w my other 8 classmate). Bfr entering university, I got 2 month break and I was at home while my parents going to work n my sibling are away for studies so I was completely alone at that time and that was the first time ever that I felt so happy and free. I didn't know that I was eager for that moment until that time. Living alone wasn't mean you are lonely, depressing and all but it also can heal you. Ppl have diff opinions though and this is my part of story.

I could also understand the point of view of the married because you could definitely enjoy those things with your partner but you could also enjoy it alone and still be satisfied and happy. It depends on the person as long as they're happy!!
