Always enjoy visiting with you Theresa! Love your big sampler finish...it is gorgeous. Hope your finger continues to heal well. You’re right, we all are aging...gracefully I’d like to believe 😉 I just turned 57 a few weeks ago, so I love when you reminisce about growing up in the 70’s...brings back so many fond memories! Finish Sally Spencer Sampler at the beginning of 2021. What a fun stitch. Happy to hear that you are trying to take some time to stitch every day🙂 Have a great stitchy week! 🦋💜
Wow did I enjoy this video!! I loved your stitchy memory stories! And loved ‘Rejoice Always Rejoice’. I was watching the kitty behind you on the arm of your chair and was thinking how cozy it was, and then your gentle kitty hopped up in front of you. JUST AWESOME. So happy for you that you are getting to stitch daily. 🪡
I just got back into cross stitching in the last month after a 40 year absence. I got into quilting in a big way and the stitching went away. Now, in this pandemic, I rediscovered counted cross stitch. So, my last finish was in 1983. It is a little framed saying that still hangs on my bedroom wall-- No act of love is ever small. Thank you so much for your floss tube videos and your awesome shop.
I finished a free pattern from pinker n punkin quilts- a sheep in a crock! I posted it yesterday on Instagram. I had that electrical thing done in my arm. I had a fall and have permanent pins and needles in my left hand! Apparently, I’ve a nerve caught in my elbow. I love my wool mat. I bought mine at the Fabric Dock in Wiggins, which is no longer in business. I’ve always been a solitary stitcher. Flosstube has opened up a whole new world for me. Someday I hope to meet a lot of folks when we can travel again. Got our first vaccine on Friday!
My most recent finish was BBD Octopus' Garden for my daughter Stephanie as a Christmas gift. She is a huge Beatles fan. It was so awesome when you told your 10 memories. My husband was born in Winona Minnesota. Blatoes bakery, The Hot Fish Shop and Watkins. My mother in law worked for Watkins!
Ann Grimshaw is gorgeous!!! Love seeing your opossum family. I have thought about making a cookbook for my family for years. Such a wonderful thing. And so amazing that you found time in your busy life. I hope your finger heals and no surgery is needed. Thanks for sharing. xo, Tricia Benich
I just this morning finished PFW 1858 from Modern Folk Embroidery. I was sitting here drinking tea and watching flosstube at 5 am and realized I could get my goal of finishing it in January. So it’s done and I can work on another one! I really want to start the Salem Village which is in my pile. So I just might. Thank you for the reminder. And thank you for being allowing my Sister to purchase a gift certificate as my Christmas present. I had so much fun spending it. 😃
Love everything LOL! We have rescued cats for decades here in rural Ohio. The are my stitching buddies too. I just pre-ordered that book and added in your Kitten Stitcher logo car sticker as that will look great on my car, next to my quilt guild logo! I'm a quilter of 25+ years but only started stitching Nov 2019. Seriously fell hard for this hobby. Hugs from NE Ohio.
Great spending time with you tonight. Your projects are beautiful, I especially love the Ann Grimshaw sampler. The last project I finished was a Pine Mountain pillow kit for last spring, I think it was called Spring Typography. I’m currently working on my oldest WIP, a Bucilla kit from the 90’s. That Moda fabric really does bring back the 70’s, love it. Glad you’re taking some time for yourself each day. I tell my daughter this all the time, “We do what we can, and then we sleep.” Be Well.
My most recent finish was Thankful, Grateful, Blessed. But I'm so excited about what I'm working on now....drum roll...I'm stitching Savior's Praise~~I am absolutely loving every single stitch!! Thank you so much for designing this beautiful sampler.
Thank you for the video. It was nice to be able to see your stitching and I’m trying to incorporate some stitching in every day. With two jobs it’s hard. I love Ann Grimshaw’s Scarlett letter, I need to get that. I like one color stitching when I’m super busy. Briar wanted to be part of the show today. So sweet and cute!😻
Always fun to watch and learn from you. The last piece I finished was Country Cottage Needleworks January Sampler of the Month - just in time for the winter storm that blew in Saturday night. Hope you have a great week. Enjoy every stitch.
I was going through some of my mom’s things in her craft room and found a box of old Christmas cross stitch ornament kits. So, I’ve been stitching those up. Brought back a lot of memories of my childhood when mom and I went to stores (Ames, Zayre’s, Forest Hills, and Mammoth Mart, and Woolworths, Newberries and Grants) and picked out a few kits at a time and would sit together and stitch them. I was so proud to put them on the Christmas tree! So those ornament kits are my most recent finish!
I really enjoyed your video today. It’s a great idea to stitch everyday and enjoy some relaxing, keep it up!! Your cat today was so funny and simply gorgeous. I think the pin cushion you made is adorable and I loved that idea. Thank you so much for your time and all the great information you shared. The last thing I finished was from mill hill and is a sledge ornament, very pleased with it. Stay safe and best wishes always. X
My latest finish was Sealed with a Snowflake Christmas ornament by The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery for my grandson's 1st Christmas :) Love the Blackbird Designs pillow finish, so cute! I love your positivity! We just put up our first bird house and there were so many visitors we had to get another one! Watching all kinds of birds is so relaxing and peaceful. We are obsessed now. I've never seen opossums up that close!! So neat to see! Great video...as always!
Oh wow! You mentioned Cross Stitchery in LaCrosse Wisconsin! That was my shop till I moved away from there. I did model stitching for them back in the mid to late 90’s. Those ladies were amazing, my introduction to sampler threads was stitching pieces for them. Their building was an old brick building on a side side street close to Riverside park and the Mississippi River. Truly a small world!
Oh goody - a new video from Kitten Stitcher! I love how your kitty was playing with the hoop 🐈. And I think the cookbook is a genius idea! My latest finish is Lamb’s Egg by Shepherd’s Bush. I’m also in the midst of hand troubles - I had surgery last August for carpal tunnel and trigger pinkie and now I have trigger thumb - all on my stitching hand, of course! I hope you find relief soon. Have a wonderful couple of weeks.
Good stuff Maynard - that made me smile. Thanks for showing the sampler motif book - great ideas for how to use it! My most recent finish was a tuck pillow made of bee fabric, and I stitched The bee from The Blackberry Rabbit’s Bee Well. Thanks for sharing your stitching and be well!
Great video. You are so right about the stitching community,. I think it’s been a year since I got back into stitching after over 30 years and I have come in contact with some of the most gracious kind people. So thankful for the community this past year.❤️
I finished Teresa Kogut Newcastle Bouquet, it is currently at the framers, can't wait to get it back!!😊 wonderful video, thank you for all that you do for the stitching community!!
My most recent finish was In My Garden drum by BBD. Love your Salem Village! So glad you took some time around Christmas! We all need to recharge! Rose Hips pincushion is brilliant! So pretty! You have a tool box going on! I just laughed out loud and my husband looked at me like I was nuts! LOL Briar is so sweet!
So good to see you...thanks for the visit...the last things I finished are princess crowns for my grandgirls...last year was taken up by a grumpy gallbladder and it was Dec. 21st before I could go have that taken out...best Christmas present yet...sorry for the hand problems...I know they are painful...wishing you JOY and happy stitching Teresa❤️❤️
I love all your finishes, especially the pattern from Notforgotten Farm and your Blackbird Designs pincushion. My latest and first finish of 2021 is "Sewn In Friendship" by Plum Street Sampling. It is for a Valentine's exchange. We have a sweet family of opossums that come up every night to eat out of the cat food bowl. After they are done, the raccoons show up to eat any leftovers. I still use my mother's ironing board almost daily. It has to be around 60 years old. I love it because it aqua and has some weight to it. It has definitely held the test of time. Have a super week!
My most recent finish was Bless Our Land from Plum street Samplers. I love watching your vidoes and seeing all of your kitties. I hope you have a great stitchy week.
My baby girl passed away a couple of weeks ago. She was a 13 year old golden retriever. It broke my heart to say goodbye to her. I had been holding on to this pattern in the back of my stash bin not wanting to face the inevitable. Little House Needleworks published the pattern in 2009 called "A Walk In The Park" and I had stumbled upon it sometime in 2016. It couldn't be more perfect. Now I can remember the life she lived and the fun we had through her photos and this beautiful cross stitch remembrance.
Wonderful floss tube! I completed old WIP..The Sewing Bird by Brenda Gervais...so fun to hear you talk about where I grew up at as well Nordic Needle was my 1st shop I thought it was the best...at that time in my life😁 great memories 🤗♥️
Oh Theresa, you are such a joy! Glad to 'see' you again! Thanks for an hour of stitchy chat. Yes, your rooms at Galleria have been some of the best! Happy 2021!
Your encouragement has helped me move out of my comfort zone with regards to my stitching. I bought Halloween at Hawk Run Hallow. My first foray into silks and forty count. Wish me luck.
I just finished three of the new little Love Note pillows from Brenda Gervais. Glad to see you on Flosstube today! Best wishes for a good recovery on your hand.
So good to see you again! My most recent finish was Needleworker by Little House Needleworks. Hope you have a great February and best of luck sorting out the aging joints. It was great seeing jingle & the family. See ya next time.
Hi! My most recent finish was a set of Christmas ornaments that I stitched and FFO’d for girls and my nieces and nephews! Good to see you! Happy stitching!
My most recent finish was the Modern Folk Embroidery SAL for 2020. I was so happy to be able to keep up each month and finish it. I always love your videos! I’m glad your sweet kitty participated. 😻
I so enjoy your videos... thanks for doing them... the last thing I finished was a little Prairie Schooler Snowman... adding to my snowman collection that I started 30 years ago. Happy stitching!
Really 💕 the cats and possums. I am currently feeding 4 adults and 1 Siamese kitten. All feral. Hoping to eventually catch the kitten and tame him. Since I keep food out 24/7 for the feral’s I am also feeding a very fat possum. Looks nothing like your possums. He has an extremely think fur coat this time of the year. Seems like the cats and the possum get along fine. I do have 3 houses set up for the cats all with heated beds. I should mention I also have 7 house cats. Mostly rescues and strays. My oldest turns 20 in June. My last completed project was by Lori Holt. Prim stitch series. Joy and contentment.
Such a nice chat this afternoon! Thanks for coming by to visit. I just finished the needle roll from Blackbird Designs Sweet Summer, Come Again. Pincushion is well on the way, then I can FFO and enjoy.
Hi Theresa! My most recent finish is One Starry Christmas Eve and I love it! I stitched it on red gingham linen. I hope to make a frame similar to the one that appears on the front cover of the chart. I was so happy to see you. What a Zoom group you folks have...I am green with envy. Take care, Sally in Northern California 😁😷
My most recent finish was "Kitchen Garden" by the Drawn Thread. Enjoyed the specialty stitches and combining my love of stitching and my garden. Enjoyed the video - as always!
Great to see you again! My last finish was in October and it is a Christmas stocking for our granddaughter Fiona who is 2 years old. The neat thing is that it is the same pattern that I stitched for her mom’s stocking back in the late 1980s! It is a supersized stocking! I did update the fabric from Aida to an evenweave sparkly fabric and added some sparkly threads and as well as other color changes! The booklet is Christmas Fantasy by Alexa Designs and the copyright date is 1981. And I would never have known how to make these changes if I hadn’t found Flosstube when I returned to stitching a few years ago when I retired. I am having so much fun! Thank you for sharing!
Good to see you again. My latest finishes were the Fa-la-la-Mingo ornaments from Hands on Design in December for my nieces and nephew at Christmas. They loved them.
The possums were fun to watch. I made :50 an hour when i was young. Spent it all on 45s lol. If i lived near Nordic needle i wouldve needed a job lol i was heavy into cutwork drawn thread in my teens and crocheting. Thanks for visiting. Kept me company as i worked. Reminds me of brady bunch dresses lol
My most recent finish was “A Weary World” by Shakespeare’s Peddler! I stitched it over one on a 32ct mystery linen from my stash. Thanks for hanging out today, always enjoy your videos.
So good to see you again!!! Loved your sharing of stitchy memories! Brought back to mind some of my own favorites! Time with my needle oh my! Sorry about your hand issues. I have a small one too but I can motor on! Again thanks for sharing!
Thanks for another lovely flosstube. I’m just finishing up my third friendly gnome/Ursula Michael ornament from the 2020 Just Crioss Stitch Christmas ornament issue. I’m changing the colors to vintage 1960’s inspired. The pink guy gets back stitched tonight.
I have a family of possums under my deck. One night when I was driving, I saw a baby in the middle of the road in the rain. We moved him to side of road. When we were coming back from our errands, he was still lost and stranded on the side of the road. We took him home knowing the mom under our deck would raise it as her own. We still see him from time to time. We feed them, a family of Racoons, a tree load of squirrels, and six cats😁
My latest finish was Winter Fling by Luhu Stitches. It's always nice to see you, to listen to you and to laugh at your stories and your kitties! Glad your thumb issue wasn't more serious and hope your pinkie issue is resolved with only a 6 week stint in the splint.
Love how Ann Grimshaw looks in her frame! Your wips are beautiful, I hope you get more stitchy time to work on them. I stitch a lot of big things so I don't finish projects very often. My last finish was Kingbird by Tellin Emblem, finished April 26th last year. Hope your finger turns out ok. Happy stitching! ~Angela
Loved your Quaker Sampler and am kitting up the Quaker Christmas red and green sampler as we speak! My finish last week was Shepherd's Bush Liberty & Justice for all pincushion which I posted on the Fanatics FB page and had a lot of fun with! I am going into your shop now to buy the pin cushion and shaker box and more as UK is out of everything! :)
Your Blackbird finish is so pretty, and Ann Grimshaw is superb. My most recent finish was Merry and Minty, from Brenda Gervais - so sweet. All my other projects are BAPs so finishes are infrequent 😂

The last project that I fully finished was Cecelia Turner's "Winter Cardinal Etching" that I just gave to my cousin as a gift. I liked it so much that I may have to stitch it for myself. Thank you for taking the time to film a video for your fans.
I was very happy to see your video come up and enjoyed it so much. Your projects and finishes are so beautiful. I also love your family cookbook, that’s such a thoughtful family keepsake. I hope you tuck away a few copies for your grandchildren. My most recent finish is Vintage Birds by Jeannette Douglas,.
My latest finish was Friends of the Heart. I love your film of the possums. We see them in our yard all the time. You will really be happy with fiber optics cable.
My last finish was the Stitching Book Club Christmas Carol SAL piece. But I only completed parts 1 and 2 out of 3. So my last fully finished was a Blackbird stocking from the Home for the Holidays book. It was so good to see you. Love the opossums and always love the kitties.
My recent finish was last night Jan. 29 2021 Hazel Hollyhock Sampler, I started this 2018 when it came out, I have know idea why it took me this long...so happy your doing ok...Vacation/Work is hard...resting is good...amazing chair arm cat...Sewing Club is crazy amazing book....thanks for sharing...take care and be safe
My most recent finish was Like A Cherry Blossom by Stitches Through the Years. Gorgeous pattern that turned out to be my most favorite thing I’ve ever stitched in my 30 years of stitching. 🌸 P.S. I love opossums and enjoy having them around! They eat ticks in the summer and help clean up after the birds. ♥️
Thank you for your video. Wow, this was a great long one! I have been coveting "Walter", and believe I'm going to have to breakdown and get it one of the days. Also Ann Grimshaw, I love Quaker. A couple of recent finishes are rattle from Prairie Schooler, and Little House Needleworks, Garden Gameboard. So enjoyed my visit with you! Take care and happy stitching!
It was so nice to visit. I just finished parson brown by not forgotten farm yesterday- my first nff piece. I hope your hand gets to feeling better- happy stitching ❤️
Loved visiting with you today T. I too am styling COVID-19 hair lol. So glad you mentioned stitch every day for relaxing. Great idea. My last finish was a silhouette of 2 cats with their tails entwined to make a heart for our Grandson’s First Christmas ornament.
I just finished Feast of Friendship by Black Bird Designs. Brought it to be framed this past week. Loved stitching it! Nice to see you again. Take care.
I finished Fourth Of July Sampler by the Humbler Stitcher...really love it... I always enjoy your flosstubes...thanks for spending time and sharing with us... Love to hear your insight and tips...will look forward to your next video...
I just this morning completed the freebie from Lilas Studio”Tomato “. I had not thought of the Nordic Needle in a zillion years!!! Lucky you getting to live down the street from them! Your Ann Grimshaw is spectacular!!! I’m working on mine but it’s definitely going to take awhile! I love possums too!
You are my favourite Flosstuber! I feel like you could be my sister albeit from about as far away as you can get in North America but one day I will make it to Hattiesburg Alabama from Ottawa, Ontario - and I will knock on your door. And 2021 is the year of stitch from stash, no new purchases, no haul etc - and I just bought Ann Grimshaw.
My latest finish is Christmas Garden I Loved every stitch of it. I went in to Shepherds Bush( local) and in seconds 💚 she had a beautiful conversion for me. Take care........
Its always a good day when it includes watching you! I love the possums they are so sweet. Your poking and shocking procedure sounds awful... I had to endure that same thing but in the whole right leg. TORTURE! Good to know we have nerves working though...LOL. Your big finish is a stunner, and of course I ended the session with high tailing it over to your site to order the Brenda Keys book... oh and a chart that was unplanned. I need to set up a shocking feature on my mouse to keep me from wanting to add all the Gloriana to my cart! Have a great February... we love you!
My most recent finish is Project Quarantine...let’s stay home and stitch by With thy needle and thread/Brenda Gervais. I am making it into a project bag. Great to hear what going on. Glad you got some answers to some medical issues. That carpal tunnel test is brutal!!! Love all your new designs releases.
My most recent finish was out of a magazine from the UK. The design is Birds and Berries, all done in blue and red for the berries. I'm thinking of making it a flat fold or a small pillow. I really enjoyed this video and got tickled at Briar, she's so pretty. Thank you for the visit
Great finishes and I can't wait to hear more about your big project! Glad you are taking some time daily to rest and stitch. My day doesn't seem to be complete without a bit of stitching. My latest finish was about a week ago and it was Set Your Mind At Easy by NeedleWorkPress. I love the colors in it!
My last piece finished was I AM A STITCHER by Cherrywood Designs! Loved filling in the background flower with Rose Gold from Colour and Cotton Threads. You are just the most honest and creative designer I know! Never met you, but have talked to you at TSGG in Helen, Ga. about 2 or 3 years ago!! Love your videos and hope you continue to be BLESSED!!! HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2021!!
Just finished Prairie Schooler, Farm Fresh. I get great relief for my hand using a thumb stabilizer brace I got at Wal-Mart. Always, always enjoy your videos.
I finished Elizabeth Jordan c1841 by Queenstown Samplers. Your online gathering group sounds wonderful with those members. So good to see you again, Theresa!
Such a sweet possum family! Love your finishes. I'm stitching on several large projects, so I have page finishes for the most part. Finished a page on Big Red Ship of Life and one page on Death by Cross Stitch this weekend. Then a finish on Poinsettia ornament by Punochka out of the JCS Christmas issue 2020 last week. It was quick and fun! I'm so glad that you had down time over Christmas. It's hard to believe that January is done now! Happy stitching!

Just finished Painted Threads....was a sweet stitch. I love Briar....❤💛🧡

Beautiful stitching and finishing .😻. Great memories , especially the one about my local LNS , Crosse Stitchery, really miss the shop.
My most recent finish is Feather Fairy by Mirabilia. Loved the Briar show and Zero's cameo. Thank you Theresa for another great video.
Your encouragement has helped me move out of my comfort zone with regards to my stitching. I bought Halloween at Hawk Run Hallow. My first foray into silks and forty count. Wish me luck.
My recent finish was a week ago. I completed all 9 of the Glitter Village from Country Cottage Needleworks.
Love your videos 💖
It was so good to catch up with you. You're SPOT ON about Market. I'm going to miss that face time. But my fingers are very much crossed for 2022.

My most recent finish was the 2020 Linens and Threads mystery. Thank you for all you do for the stitching community!
My most recent finish was Hope, by Beth Twist. It brought many hours of comfort while stitching it this last year. Enjoyed today’s floss tube.
My most recent finish was "Kitchen Garden" by the Drawn Thread. Enjoyed the specialty stitches and combining my love of stitching and my garden. Enjoyed the video - as always!
Last week I finished blackbird designs come into my garden, such a beautiful piece. Wonderful podcast as usual! Love your projects!
It was wonderful to see a new video from you. ❤️
Briar grabbing the hoop...so cute! Great to see you again.
So glad you are back. My last finish was the American Sampler by Plum Street. Loved stitching it.
Thank you for the upload. I enjoyed this and love the interaction with your cat.
My most recent finish was Christmas Boxes by Pine Mountain. What a fun stitch along that was! Always love your floss tube!!

Loved seeing you! Tell your doctor there’s nothing wrong with the hand of a 60 year old! I’m 71, and my hands are just fine! ❤️
We so enjoyed this hour with you....love you so much!
Great video again! Always good to see you. I just finished Stacy Nash's Christmas at Hollyberry Farm. It was a fun stitch. Take care.
I love your Nordic Needle connection.
