That was an excellent observation and connection that Herc made, when it comes to how prisons are so racially divided... as well violently... and our own world on the outside is becoming no diffeent.
Big herc the problem is people themselves. Everyone is greedy and ignorant. Everyone is insecure about their current situations. Everyone wants instant gratification nobody wants to sacrifice for the long term. Some people just wanna flex and try to capitalize on power over their fellow men. I disagree with "talking to a guard". You're supposed to be an organized criminal that doesn't have a snappy attitude towards authority, just because you're busted, and he's not. If anything, NOT talking to a guard can be seen as gay, or at least passive aggressive. I got paid to talk to the guards, here in NC, because I read a lot, and I can accomplish things the bad attitude can't. How are you going to make big moves in a maximum security prison W/O the guards? It takes a man to communicate with a man. In all do respect, this guy with the long dark hair isn't exactly a big strong peckerwood, and I'd hate to see him get busted here in NC, or some other prison in the south!
