  • Sadhguru explains that looking for benefits is a self-defeating way to approach spiritual practices, and adds that Shoonya, or leaving yourself out, is the only way to become available to grace.
    #Sadhguru
Yogi, mystic and visionary, Sadhguru is a spiritual master with a difference. An arresting blend of profundity and pragmatism, his life and work serves as a reminder that yoga is a contemporary science, vitally relevant to our times.

It does, but the thing is (as said in this video) - we shouldn't have expectations before (or while) meditating (for example "I should feel like this, I should feel like that, I should feel myself going inside me..." etc.). And we also shouldn't try too hard in meditation. We should allow our consciousness and our peacefulness (as a consequence of meditating) progress naturally. We should just observe, and be a part of what's happening in ourselves and in the present moment. Not resisting anything, not forcing anything, not expecting anything. Just being. 🧘‍♂️

I will continue to try and let you guys know how my journey goes. Im loosing faith on this one.

@Erika B 😂 you see erica, i read somewhere Buddha used to tell his disciple never to say it's easy or hard. Because you are again generating thought that is creating hindrances. Recognise hindrances. See, we have to work, communicate, our mind is always playing outwards bcz of sense organs. Goal is to make mind inward through self enquiry. Brain has to stop recording. It's only possible when you complete each thought as it appears without any resistance or counter thought. For this one needs attention and it's only arduous thing one has to do. Because what we are aspiring is to break automatic process of life, ie, karma. Observe things that you do automatically psychologically. 🙏

The Reason I'm Struggling to Meditate is there are too Many People Chattering ...
    Inside My Ear Canals
    8 Billion of Them
Like Crickets & White Noise ...
    So Instead I ...
    TUNE OUT ~ TURN OFF
    😁 ... DROP-IN ... 🤣

Embrace inner engineering! 🙏🏻What a benevolent universe…after all these centuries. I come along and by multiple situations of happenstance. I bump into this guy in life .. ha. Seriously well not that seriously. But pretty big as big things that work for me in the biggest of ways go. And that I’m here to capture and present enough to invite this dimension of awareness into my being-ness and crave the next and next what ever is next .. is such a long shot. That it’s not. It was meant for me all along the way to these times of
Me in this embodiment. What else could it be. Every happenstance isn’t a happenstance from a certain view.. a real view drawn back far enough to see it all.
    It’s a practice I engage in . It’s expansive it’s compassionate it’s yielding to awareness 🙏🏻
