Faze was a group of guys that were really good at cod and started a team or clan. But now they no longer own a majority of the brand/org/company so they’re focus seems to be on making money and recruiting content creators over friends and skilled gamers

Banks got back control and became the official CEO a few days ago. and that's somewhat the opposite of what Banks is doing, he's recruiting content creators who actually are his friends over random skilled gamers that he isn't friends with and doesn't have any relationships with. he explained it all in a video on twitter. in his eyes, he's tryna bring Faze back to what it originally was. but instead of just a group of gamer friends it's a group of friends that do multiple forms of content creation
