12PM - 6TH DECEMBER - ACCENTSINTL.COM I've worn it for months and occasionally in videos and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do - I will be making a short videos on designing it too and how it works and how I got to that design!
uring the 1974/75 season the club became known as 'The Dolphins' and by the beginning of the following season, a new club crest had been introduced. Both this nickname and crest were to prove short-lived, however, following an incident said to have taken place in the Bo'sun public house in Brighton.
Context with the villa one Fans voted for the round one, new CEO arrived and removed it and made the new one that broke FA badge rules as fans had no say on it
Well, even as a Sweden Kopite I know, that Liverpool FC still uses the 1999 badge as an oficiall badge, but, the Liverbird version on the merch and jerseys. Great video tho, as alwasys. :)
Actually LFC use the liverbird badge only for online platforms like broadcasting, social media . But in Anfield or any official document they use the 1999 badge . And they said in their official statement that the 1999 badge is Liverpool's badge and they will use the Liverbird for broadcasting.
--> Ooohh ... CCFC Kit ... Me likey! --> Ciarán, this video provided an amazing 1.2 giggles per minute, with an astounding 10 lol's and 5 guffaws. Great work, mate! --> That Bournemouth badge is the best. The circular badge echos the circular cherries, and the simple design is easy on the eyes.
The Man Utd badge with the Red Devil first appeared in 1940 after they asked their nearby neighbours Salford Red Devils rugby league club if they could also call themselves the Red Devils. Salford Rugby League had been known as the Red Devils since a French newspaper nicknamed them Les Diables Rouges (The Red Devils) during a tour of France. I grew up in Newton Heath, where the shyster club originated. They also wore yellow and green kit in 1992-94.
This guy is the Manchester City fanbase meme personified. Claims to be a fan, is from London.. What a clown. He mentions nothing with regards to either of the Club's histories. The three rivers and ship. The Rose. Nothing. Completely glosses over it all...
Villa's 1886 badge has never been the Birmingham Coat of Arms. I'm not sure why I see it dubiously pop on some historical badge websites when there's no evidence it ever existed. I assume it's some villa fan who is desperately trying to claim that villa are a true Birmingham team, when in reality, Aston was a completely separate town that wasn't integrated into Birmingham until 1910, villa were 36 years old by then, they wouldn't have had any status in Birmingham until 24 years after this so-called badge. In fact, it's actually Birmingham City's badge which there is tons of evidence proving it was worn by the Blues.
I think Liverpool only officially changed their badge the summer just gone, but still put the previous badge on the brand new stands. They've had just the liver bird on the kits since 2012 but the official badge didn't change to just the liver bird until 2024.
We didn't change it actually. It's just for Online platforms . By seeing your profile I think you have gone to Anfield, saw that big Liverpool badge it's our official emblem still .....
Considering the era it was made in, the Newcastle badge from 1976-1983 really catches my eye. If that were released today it would be a top top candidate for the best circular badge of the modern era IMO Bit unfair it has to contend with the current NUFC badge, easily one of the best
There are many confusion about Liverpool's badge , Let me clear all . From this season onwards Liverpool are gonna use the Liverbird emblem across the digital platforms such as Broadcasting, Social media. But The main logo didnt change. In their official statement they said, "LFC’s crest will remain as the club’s official emblem and an integral part of the club’s brand identity, and will continue to be used in non-digital areas - including at Anfield, the AXA Training Centre, AXA Melwood Training Centre and club offices." I hope that helps.
You should do a EA/PES/Efootball series with your own team using a spinning wheel to pick what you do like the amount of transfers, money you can spend so on and have forfeits
Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet but the Crystal Palace one is interesting as the key change isn't the shade of Red. The year on the crest changes as they wanted the club to be the oldest club around. I think they went for 1861 and Notts County was 1862? If you aren't going to be the best then at least you gotta be the first! I did wonder who the first team played? Themselves? Against a wall like a rubbish game of squash? It's just not cricket. Which is ironic as most football teams consisted of cricketers back then.
Brighton became known as the seagulls after a game vs Palace. Since Palace are called the Eagles, Brighton fans started taking the piss and chanted seagulls. The club then became known as the Seagulls and it sparked the A23 Derby
This didn’t come up on my page, luckily I checked cos I missed you. Why are you hiding Ciaran from me TH-cam? I need my fix! Even if it is about football.

Brighton changed their nickname to Seagulls purely out of spite of Crystal Palace after the criwd chanted Seagulls to counter Palaces 'Eagles' chant
Ciaran you gorgeous man I've just sat down for lunch
should do the rest of the football league too, this was a good video
That kit is bloody gorgeous sunshine

@ Oh is that so!? Ok then I was wrong, tyvm!

The whole analogy on Brighton’s dolphin vs Seagull change gave me the giggles

12:48 he's just admitted he's English not Irish 😮😂😂
Not really 😂 he’s said he’s there and he was born there, but if both parents are Irish he would have an argument to say he’s Irish.
@lp5670 🤦

Man Utd's best badge is the 80s/early 90s when Adidas stuck Copa Mundial's on it for branding purposes
I’ve got to admit it’s quite admirable that Southampton have barely changed their badge in 50 years 👏👏👏
Insane Ciarán Carlin FC lore today
Ciaran you smexy little cinnamon bun I just got home from work 😘
POV: my neighbour when I kick the ball over 17:35
You should do this for the Scottish premiership, some interesting crests there.
On the Palace one you note the slightly lighter red but miss the changing of the year. 😂

It’s 12:16pm in Australia as I type this so I am literally sitting down to eat lunch…
Crystal Palace, Newcastle, Liverpool and Ipswich are by far the best ones imo.
5:36 looks like it was made in Microsoft word

Can we do best historical badges of the Bundesliga?
The man in the old chelsea badge looks like a bad guy from.scooby doo
Liverpool had that shaped badge before Man Utd did
The previous Man City badge was absolutely the best one. I'd say it's the best of all the clubs.
It's really ugly.. I reckon only Man City fans would say it's the best, I would say it's iconic but that's about it
Forest have won TWO European Cups hence the stars !
So happy I get paid tomorrow now
