Last stop for a resolution End of the line, is it confusion? So go, go see what's there for you Nothing new, nothing new for you to use I've got no new act to amuse you I've got no desire to use you, you know But anything that I could do, would never be good enough for you If you can't help it then just leave it alone Leave it alone, yeah, just forget it It's really easy I believe I'll forget it too Still you're keepin' me around Til I finally drag us both down Streaming feathers out your hat Yes I believe that's where it's at You belong tagging along And I belong in your zoo So I wait for confirmation That you're never gonna use your starting gun Unless its me it sounds like being here just wasn't that much fun Anything that I could do Would never be good enough for you If you can't help it then just leave it alone Leave me alone, yeah, just forget it It's really easy I'll just forget it too Coast to coast, coast to coast I'll do what I can so you can be what you do Coast to coast, coast to coast I'll do everything I can so you can be what you do Coast to coast, coast to coast Circuit rider comes every fifth Sunday Oh my Lord, I fell asleep one day Anything that I could do Is there anything that I could do That someone doesn't do for you That someone didn't do for you That I haven't already done for you
its nice to hear live Basement songs pulled off so fluidly ... and then at the end,, the standard Elliott inquiry.. " Happy song? or sad songs..?' lol how thoughtful of him to always ask the crowd ; )
It's really no wonder he fucked up so much live at the end. He was way too depressed, tired, and fucked up on drugs to play these songs. He should have been playing verse chorus power chord songs, not this crazy shit.
Definitely his best song in my opinion. Lyrics and music are absolute top notch. From a Basement on the Hill is quite the album and when you start an album with a song like this you set the excitement to 11.
Pure gold spun by a genius songwriter, eloquent poet, brave and fearless yet humble guitarist. Truly untouchable and missed. Coast to coast’s placement on the album is perfect and it can play on repeat for days. Kings Crossing is the killer, but this is so good. Thanks for the rare gems!!
😭😭😭 how can someone so talented die so young? His music is the only reason why I haven’t committed suicide. “Anything that i could do will never be good enough for you ”. That line really touches my soul. 😖😭😭😭😭😭

End of the line, is it confusion?
So go, go see what's there for you
Nothing new, nothing new for you to use
I've got no new act to amuse you
I've got no desire to use you, you know
But anything that I could do, would never be good enough for you
If you can't help it then just leave it alone
Leave it alone, yeah, just forget it
It's really easy
I believe I'll forget it too
Still you're keepin' me around
Til I finally drag us both down
Streaming feathers out your hat
Yes I believe that's where it's at
You belong tagging along
And I belong in your zoo
So I wait for confirmation
That you're never gonna use your starting gun
Unless its me it sounds like being here just wasn't that much fun
Anything that I could do
Would never be good enough for you
If you can't help it then just leave it alone
Leave me alone, yeah, just forget it
It's really easy
I'll just forget it too
Coast to coast, coast to coast
I'll do what I can so you can be what you do
Coast to coast, coast to coast
I'll do everything I can so you can be what you do
Coast to coast, coast to coast
Circuit rider comes every fifth Sunday
Oh my Lord, I fell asleep one day
Anything that I could do
Is there anything that I could do
That someone doesn't do for you
That someone didn't do for you
That I haven't already done for you

this has to be one of the greatest songs to ever be written.
It's the form that gets me. So complex and interesting.
It's really no wonder he fucked up so much live at the end. He was way too depressed, tired, and fucked up on drugs to play these songs. He should have been playing verse chorus power chord songs, not this crazy shit.

Beautiful, just beautiful
I love this version ❤
Listening on a blue tooth on a nice day thanks
Haha he almost started laughing when the guy in the crowd went "who ooh ooo."
That’s my favourite bit of this recording, you can tell Elliott is thinking “woah, he can sing” hahaha
I've heard this version so many times, but couldn't find the concert it was to. Thank you for the upload, maya.
It was to the steamboat show if you're still wondering! (th-cam.com/video/njiGF6pLWUg/w-d-xo.html)
