Man, I really thought this was going to be an amazing day on the water. Welp, I was wrong LOL. One thing is for sure, this unlocked a new core memory.

I have a radio but wouldn’t have needed it. You can’t tell from the video but we’re actually very close to land the entire time. The water was also around 60 degrees, so we could have easily swam it. Hypothermia doesn’t set in for a few hours at that temp. I do agree this was dumb, but it wasn’t life threatening.

I hope you at least have a handheld VHF radio, if you had gone in that water you wouldn’t have lasted long at all. Everyone dressed in cotton, not even any rain gear. wow, very dangerous.
