    Sheikh you should do a more detailed video of common mistakes people make in salah and how we can build more concentration and devotion in our salah
    I learn a lot from your videos
    May Allah bless you

    Salli doesn't translate into English as 'pray', it translates as 'link' a word related to lank, flank, flinch. Where as pray comes from Latin 'pax', which means 'to bind'
    Bad translation confuses the people.
    It was that Joshua Evans who remarked 'this was not prayer, it was worship' when he saw salat for the first time and was told they were going to pray.

      It does translate into English as prayer but of course there’s more to it than that. Linguistically it means duaa’: prayer/supplication than of course there are the linguistics roots that are like what you mentioned but to say it’s not the correct translation is incorrect. Words take different meanings when they are used in the sharia but the Arabs generally understood ‘salah’ as prayer.

    What if he has back issues. If it’s in ignorance then correct the person as the prophet did. SAW, but if he is old or don’t know ALLAH may accept his prayer.

    What if he didn't rise up all the way because he's old and has a bad lower back? He could have been praying in a chair but is trying to push himself to stand up and pray and that's his best effort.

    Quite disappointing. That is not the Hanafi position. It is wajib in the hanafi madhhab, not sunnah.

    • @saqib399
      @saqib399 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But he said that other madhabs consider it "rukun" not wajib

    • @hp5203
      @hp5203 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@saqib399 thats not the point. He said that it is sunnah in the hanafi madhhab, it isn't. And it is a very significant difference. He then spoke on how some Hanafis dont seem to give it importance because it is sunnah. All wrong

    • @saqib399
      @saqib399 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree that in hanafi madhab it may be wajib and calling it sunnah is all wrong but i've seen a lot hanafis not standing properly after ruku. So, that implies itz not considered that important as other rukuns in the hanafi madhab and that certainly is a big problem.

    No no no! Hanafis were not taught to perform Salaah in this manner. In fact this is the first time I am seeing someone perform Salaah in this manner. I am not a youngster saying this as one who was taught the hanafi fiqh. Why revert Muslims give Imam Abu hanifa RMH a bad wrap, is beyond me. I liked your education until you came to that part. May Allah forgive you your shortcomings Raheem.

    • @apdu7759
      @apdu7759 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Salam alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
      I think you’ve listened with your heart (with all my respect), he never said that Hanafis were taught to pray this way but "in the Hanafi Madhhad, this movement -coming up- is considered to be a sunnah and not a rukn (essential point or pillar)"; so it’s really different and he’s not criticizing "you” at all.
      Anyway, please, as a Hanafi, can you confirm that it is (or not) a sunnah ?
