Thank you so much for this video!! You literally saved me from a complete melt down! I did not realize the remote came apart let alone have a battery you could replace. Thank you again ✌️❤️
The mattress store told me these remotes could not be opened to replace the battery - they told me to contact Leggett - Thank you so much! You just saved me the $70.00 the company told me it would cost to get a new one! You made my day!!!
Thank you for this! Mine didn't come apart this easily as the seam may be glued. I gently scraped away the glue and gently pried it open. I paid $6 for a 4 pack of batteries vs. $139 to replace the remote (Amazon)! Thank you!!!!
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for this video. It saved our lives as couldn't get bed down and when we tried to open couldn't figure it out. To late to call mattress place that sold us it with a warrenty for 10 years. So God bless you for showing us how to do this.
Do you know what the battery size is?? The sticker is not on mine and I’m assuming battery size was on the sticker? I don’t know. I don’t have the battery anymore
@@randyacosta5221 @TheKarmi01 anyone who didn't already figure out...unplug the bed from the wall power for several minutes, then plug it back in. The light under the bed should begin flashing means its "pairing". Push any of the buttons on the remote to try and operate it, should auto-pair and the light under the bed will stop flashing when paired.
An over $1.5k Bed and Mattress with a "$5 and Below Store" quality made Remote!....How do you noq pair the Remote to the Bed with the just replaced fresh Battery?
Without a doubt the worst design for a replaceable battery ever . One could never have figured it out without an instructional video and even then opening the case with a "simple" twist is virtually impossible. A simple notch to grip somewhere on the rim of the case would have fixed this. Horrible design !!!

It uses the most popular button-type battery in the market.... CR2032.

They advertise it as nonservicable, none repairable.
