The question of being an active or passive investor is a question of time. The amount of time you can devote to being an investor will determine whether you will be in an S&P 500 index fund, S&P sector spiders, or individual stock issues. For those individuals who are balancing a career, marriage, and young children with after-school activities, your only choice may be a passive investor. For others who have the time to learn about and invest in securities markets, the rewards will be both monetary and psychological. Always remember that while monetary rewards can be infinite, time is finite.
Tom Lee is wrong on the Small-Caps thing I think. Not 50%. Maybe 20% overall at best. I think that is a stretch.
why 25 times Earnings, a lot of competition and absolutely no innovation at all is okay for apple, and not okay for Nike?

Covered in yesterday's video
Waiting on the big crash. Layoffs going up, car companies shutting down production, airlines industry struggling, lowest savings rate in history, credit card debt high, oil consumption down, car loan defaults ticking up, china slowing down. Most new jobs are gov jobs (net negative to real gdp) and most new hires are going to non-natives. All signs point to negative outlook. Make sure you're holding some cash and get out of weak positions. Those who are prepared will make a fortune and others will lose a fortune.
Many positive things are also happening in the markets right now. With interest rates coming down people are going to start shifting their money from money market accounts back into the stock market. Just my opinion.
@@bluecloudtrading Go look up the jobless rates in correlation to the interest rates. Decreases in fed rates always followed by higher unemployment. The signs are not good.
What does the Judge bring to the table? Other than to break balls? Never seen him make a call, right or wrong, of any kind.
@@teashapal He keeps things moving along and he challenges them. Overall I like him.
He's the host, he doesn't make calls.
It's not his job to make a call. He is the host and moderator and it's his job to challenge the experts from time to time. He isn't working with celebrities but Investors on the Street...who can deal with it..
