The song, Rough Side of the Mountain, a stable song in the church, has an error that must be shared. There is nothing a person can do " to make it in;" that is getting into heaven, our sin prevents. It is like taking a dirty cloth to clean a dirty counter. The dirt is still there. Jesus Christ is the only cloth that can clean us from our sins. Acts 4:12 declares, salvation from sin is only in the name of Jesus Christ. Don't allow this take away the meaning of how rough life is. The song, Rough Side of the Mountain, a stable song in the church, has an error that must be shared. There is nothing a person can do " to make it in;" that is getting into heaven, our sin prevents. It is like taking a dirty cloth to clean a dirty counter. The dirt is still there. Jesus Christ is the only cloth that can clean us from our sins. Acts 4:12 declares, salvation from sin is only in the name of Jesus Christ. Don't allow this take away the meaning of how rough life is. Just remember, what can wash away our sins, nothing but the blood of Jesus

While reading your comment, it took me back to those good ole days when our parents did not have to worry about us, just as long as we came home on time. it was probably because we DID walk to church, we did listen to those ole songs and the message from them carried us through til the next Sunday. Yes, we may not have had a lot of money but we had that "stick to your ribs" type of love from our parents and neighbors.

My mom favorites songs came from rev c Barnes and family i grew up on all of his songs 🎵 and sing it with my mom and sisters and brothers and family and song it with my mom before she past away November 2nd 2021. Miss u mom and love u for ever u was my everything and more my world is so empty with out you 💔 mom my heart is totally broken into pieces but God took u for a reason to heal u and shelter you from pain and suffering. To heal ur heart and soul God I wish it wasn't to soon though I need my mom back God. But my mom always said if he calls I'm answer to him the almighty God and Jesus christ the lord 🙏 mom watch over me and the family like u always do not a day goes by that I don't miss u and love u.
