Dear Shahin very fascinating video. keep trying to make such great videos. I have read many articles about HV but none of them describe this simply like you.
Hello Shahin, thank you for this very helpful video! Which other performance indicators do you recommend for real world problems? Not only to compare different algorithm but also to evaluate how close my solution is to the real solution? (Is this possible to evaluate if I do not know the solution?)
I'm glad you found it helpful! Generally if you don't have some idea of the theoretical optima it's difficult to use other performance indicators, e.g. Inverse Generational Distance. You need to decide what is most important: proximity, diversity, pertinence, or some combination of them... there's a recent paper www.optimization-online.org/DB_FILE/2018/10/6887.pdf which reviews many of them
Hi Shahin, could you please provide a reference for math equation to calculate the hypervolume indicator? I know that there are algorithms to do the calculation but is there is a reference for the mathematical foundation for the hypervolume calculation? that's what I am after. Thank you
Hi Dr.Shahin, do you mind share some knowledge about addictive indicator? I saw it is part of binary quality indicator but difficult to understand how it works..
Hi Ishan, I’m glad you liked it. At the time of creating this video I thought I would create my own presentation framework within Unity to make videos more engaging for a younger audience as well as my regular viewers. Unfortunately, to date, I’ve only used it for this video!
Good mornig Professor Shahin, thank you for this very helpful video! May you help us with a video about crowding distance? I'm from Brazil and you videos are help me a lot. You're are an inspiration to me. Thank you so much.
Hello Ênio. I'm glad you find the video useful. I have more videos planned, the next one is likely to be on desirable characteristics in multi-objective solution sets, i.e. proximity, diversity, and pertinence. I'll put crowding distance on the list for when I'm picking future videos!
Great video, love the Fullmetal Alchemist inspired algorithm names. :)
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it. First person to notice the algorithm names too!
bad choice using Cornello though, no one will know who he is.
should've used something like Armstrong or Mustang.
Fantastic animations and visualizations and I really like how you don't use arbitrary function names or examples
Thank you

The next video in this series will be on the Contributing Hypervolume Indicator
I am a researcher in this field. Very informative. Thank You.
@@HemantKumar-qf8ne Me too sir Hemant.
I also enjoyed the anime full metal alchemist really much!
An easter egg for fans!
best so far.
Thank you very much for making a video about this very interesting topic.
You’re welcome, I’m glad you found it useful.
You are awesome

Awesome video, you made it very easy to understand and the animation is immersive. Btw which software u used for animation?

@@ShahinRostami these animations are awesome, I wud love to c such animations in other videos as well. Please use them more🙏🙏
Thank you so much!

@@ShahinRostami Yesss!! Thank you so much =)
Wow, you finally trying animation
I went all in and created my own presentation framework in Unity for this one!
