Pretty nice. Good hard work pays off. I live a few hundred yards from where you were in that bend. Next time you’re in town, I’ll show ya a few tips I’ve learned about the creek
The super large rock is not private property, it where a episode of good trails and ghost towns with Mike Roberts and bill Bailey, they dug right beside it and got a nice pan....if you try to get to that spot from way up McCullough road you might have to trespass on native land, but the entire river can be walked up without trespassing...
10 bucks worth of gold and 200 bucks worth of gas to get there from red deer, plus food, and the bc crown says u can only pan,no dredge or sluices!so...its just for a fun time! you wont get rich doing that!
where exactly on mission creek do you go? i was just on it at the end of hollywood on the trail around the 11.5 km marker today but no colours, near any bridge ? also how deep do you dig to get gravels for panning? any details is much appreciated! lots of sandstone near 11.5km marker rapids and slow waters. it looks great but i may be not going deep enough
