Saw the series after becoming aware of it in 2023. Only because I was looking to find some works by Aunjanue Ellis, I came across this very special movie. The movie may explain why black people are so damaged in modern times. Reminds me the need to have compassion for black folks despite how self destructive they are today given what they have endured. I will always be African within me,
