I idolized Daniel Johns so much that I drew a portrait of him like a painter and played almost all of their songs by heart. In the early days, I had no access to the internet and tablatures so I had to figure out the guitar riffs on my own. My notebooks in school were full of lyrics and chords. What an awesome experience. The most talented musician that I have ever known.

I've always been a fan of these guys, going all the way back to Frogstomp. Their evolution from teens who were just angry at the world into these amazing performances over the ten or so years when this was filmed was only a taste of what they could have done. Young Modern and Diorama are two of the all time great albums, you have to listen to them from start to finish to really appreciate the genius behind them. It's such a shame the way it all ended and the animosity between them now means it's very unlikely they will ever reunite
yeah dude the last time they played it was 1999 and in my opinion its for 3 reasons A: because as we all know silverchair change alot and at most of their shows they played their latest songs to promote their albums B: because he cant hit the notes as a singer tommorow isnt an easy song to sing but it goes against songs like Across the Night and Tuna In The Brine where he hits amazing notes C: the band said in a 1999 interview that they dont really like the song because its very simple hope this helped
