@@lean6am795 i dont have password in bios but I don't know what to do there I already tried resetting the bios to factory settings, but still nothing helps
@@lean6am795 I have a suspicion that my hard drive could have just gone to hell because I live in Ukraine and my electricity is turned off absolutely every day several times

If this happens to you once in a blue moon it's probably way easier to just restart your PC. The screen and box will almost certainly show up upon restart. At least it does for me. The login password box not showing up happens about once every 50 boot ups for me.

@@sertok3993 you probably already found a solution but I'll tell you anyways. Turn your computer off and back on, as soon as you turn it back on hold shift + f8 then go to troubleshooting setting and then click reboot, then just follow the steps in the video

Can we get some help finding out how to get to the typing in the pin point? Cause after pressing F5 it takes us to a list and you never explained what to do after that other then to type in the pin. Its not showing us the pin.

My problem is there is no power button an the screen.... Only internet icon
U can directly open safe mode by shutting down and switching on by first keep holding escape button and press power button

None of the multiple options worked for me... tried out the various options multiple times yet the login password page never came. Tried power off button several times... Finally pressed the power off button for almost like 30 secs till the laptop shut down. When I finally switched on the laptop, it started working well. Signed in and then restarted. Now following the instructions... trying out a system restore. Thanks for the video and the comments of others which was comforting and thanks to those who shared their ideas and strategies too.

@@TheSmarterFeed I give up fixing on my own and end up send my pc to professional. He said there's something wrong with my outlook account (pc sign in account 😬). I can use my Windows 10 now. Maybe you should try remove the password of ur computer first (go back to ur previous Windows) then retry to upgrade to Windows 10 back after remove the pc password.

@@bhojarajubhargavi4622 I ended up give up and send my pc to the professional 😂 but he said there was a problem with my outlook (sign in) account. Maybe you should return and go back to ur previous version then remove the password from your computer then re-install the Windows 10.

It's solved just now by long pressing the switch button and continued by switching on.
not working for me...after f5 login bar does not show and i lost my internet icon...now my problem is doubled....cant see the log in bar and internet icon the reason why i cant even connect to the net...haayst

@@fatihahtarmizi1749 Or if you can't do that try logging in to safe mode through command prompt, or try windows reset or recovery.
You can get these options in windows automatic repair settings.
GUYS simple answer is CTRL+ALT+DELETE all at once.

@@humbertodelac0494 I reset it. Not a hard reset. Only one that clears my apps. Got them back in 3 hours.
Windows password box still doesn't show up when I'm trying to enter safe mode, it can be proved that this problem is not caused by startup settings and I have to try another approach in this article to fix this problem.

Hello. I have tried using control alt delete and it does not work. I am only allowed to use the command prompt and the X: drive. I continuously run chkdsk which seems to improve it every time. I am able to see the log in screen for a split second if I scroll up on the screen or hit control alt delete, then it disappears again. It looks like chkdsk is replacing the same files or deleting the same corrupt files. There is a message that says something like 'the operation could not be done because of an error message' that has numbers and letters after it. The login screen will not appear long enough for me to log in. I tried to turn off the password feature but don't know what commands would work with X: drive. I thought I could get to the User Account in command prompt but do not know how in X: drive. I thought it could be a graphics drive problem but I cannot do anything in the X: drive (device manager).

My laptop didn't show the password tab after waking up from sleep. It takes atleast 2-3 mins to show up or it doesn't show up at all. So the basic fix which worked for me was to press alt+ctrl+del button and password tab showed up.

Nevermind, I did after 5 tries. But it just goes back to the exact same problem, the password box is gone forever. I’m using a pin if that makes a difference

@@slayerman3248 no I’m sorry I tried everything. What I did was install a linux boot to access my files and copied all my files to a hard drive and completely wiped the computer and started fresh. It was miserable, I spent 20 hours on this and still had to start fresh. It’s disgusting that they have this glitch
