I love how they really sell how powerful the pirate master is by the sheer amount of damage he's able to tank like it's nothing.

Pretty late but if you stick to the right side and wait until the first cannonball lands next to you, then immediately run to the other side of the screen, you can avoid all the cannonballs.

I'll be honest. My first time I fought him I already had all the dark magic collected. So I have a right to say this boss was a pain in the ASSS!!!

Oh yeah I remember this boss fight. He was really tough to beat it took me a couple tries to beat him. Until I found out his patterns of attack. Once I did he was easy to beat.
