I've read very few theories about what this song means. Some saying that it's about a crybaby girl (thus "Julie TEARJERKY" - a tear jerker named Julie). The most interesting one I've come across though is the idea that it's about a girl who was so caught up with Tifa's death in Final Fantasy 7 and the experience of playing the said legendary JRPG. Aside for "Final Fantasy" literally being mentioned, there are actually lots of parts in the lyrics that hint to this... Such as "SUPERSTRATEGY GUIDE" which suggests the Gaming Magazines that were popular to 80s to 90s gamers since internet connection was pretty much non-existent at the time. Regardless of what it truly means though, I love it when artists never fully disclose the truth behind their songs as it gives analytic fans time to theorycraft and marvel at how their minds work (more than any other rock band in the Philippines, Eheads lang talaga nagbigay sakin nung feeling na yun).

That's awesome, I didn't know that. It's nice to know that we had the same musical experience in the 90's, my Indonesian friend. :) I'd like to share a story as well. Eraserheads songs were playing in Kish Island, Iran when I went there to exit Dubai in around 2005. I was pleasantly shocked that this type of music can travel that far. :)

@@Armon1990 you missed the point, 2005 when the orange and lemon came out i always listen to their song "lihim" and some people make copy on it by recording it on blank tape while its playing.

Sana nung 90's na lang ako pinanganak para kahit papaano naabutan kong buo pa yung eraserheads at naabutan ko yung mga panahong magaganda pa yung mga kanta( meaningful ). Ngayon kasi umaasa na lang ako sa reunion nila umaasa na lang din ako na magiging ganto uli yung mga tugtugan.

That's awesome, I didn't know that. It's nice to know that we had the same musical experience in the 90's, my Indonesian friend. :)
I'd like to share a story as well. Eraserheads songs were playing in Kish Island, Iran when I went there to exit Dubai in around 2005. I was pleasantly shocked that this type of music can travel that far. :)
