  • Europe’s younger generation is among the worst-hit of the housing emergency, taking on the brunt of the ongoing cost of living crisis.
Buying a house is a remote dream for most of us, and will realistically take decades to achieve. Why are we in this situation? And how can we get out of it?
Aitor Hernandez Morales, senior reporter for cities at Politico Europe, came on the pod to talk about it.
"Getting there" is a #podcast by ENTR in partnership with RFI, where hosts Elena Pompei and Renée Bertini look at the EU's up and coming policies to find out what's next for the EU, and how to get there.

I think some of the problem is that everyone wants to live in the same areas, many people don't even consider living just outside Paris. I know some areas are crap, but not all of them

Exactly. I dont get why people Who live outside bigger cities should get their tax money spent on subsidizing those Who want to afford THE LUXURY of living in a big city. Is like giving state Aids to those Who wanna buy Lamborghinis.
