He was originally against the electric piano, and eventually caved and got acclimated. I always felt he put a little extra on the performance, but a good portion of him was raptured by the spell of the electric sound.

I think that Master Keith Jarrett misunderstood what “electric” meant concerning electric instruments. I think he thought that he personally had to generate the electricity with his body 🤠🤠🤠 I know that Keith isn’t too fond of this period in his journey, but I love it
Absolutely stunning playing by Jarrett, unbelievable on the Vianna concert too. Wish there was film of that concert, incredible virtuosity and creativity :)
I'm a musician of about 50 years, my son plays trombone and owns 3 of them. I have yet to be able to play one note that sounds like a note on any of his horns. Non-horn players do not realize how difficult this is.
