Thermal Spray Repair of Screw Press for Packaging Manufacturer

The critical screw press equipment measuring 457" long needed repairs. Multiple bearing and seal fits were damaged and out of OEM specifications. Several flight sections were also bent and damaged. Our team used the thermal spray process to restore the damaged bearing fits and seal fits on all shafts and weld repaired the damaged flights throughout the shafts. With the thermal spray repair, this screw press extends its runnability.
