Id like to know aswell. This is the third video where I have seen people planting nerrines under the soil. But the place where I bought my bulbs (Sarah Raven) said I should make sure the tip is above soil level so who is right?
All the planting advice I have seen on Nerines say that a third of the bulb should be below soil and two thirds above ground so the sun warms the tips.
No grit for drainage?
Plant with tips above soil! 🤭

yes your right, the tip of bulbs have to be above the soil. plant to deep and you get no flowers👍🏻
Bulbs has to be planted slightly above the ground level.
I have asked as the garden centre today about Nerines. This is not the way to plant them
Nerines should be planted near the surface, not 20cm deep. Root buried and bulb showing.

absolutely correct ! planting them 15 cm deep (that is for lilies ) is just if you never want to see them flower !
