Resistance Temperature detector is device which sense the temperature and measure it in the form of Resistance and that measure Resistance will be measure by a electrical bridge circuits in the form of electrical Mili voltage.
In the process Industries PT100 RTD is generally used to measure the Temperature. There are Various types of Resistance Temperature Detector such as - Two Wire RTD, Three wire RTD, Four Wire RTD etc.

You can simply try if measure resistance is 138 then 138-100 =38. Then 38 divide by .385=98.7 is degree Celsius so at 38 resistance your temperature is 98.7 degree Celsius.

Main difference toh temprature measuring range ka ho hai thermistor ki range 200 degree tak hi hai high range (500 degree+ ) ke liye thermocouple ya RTD use karte hai aur 2000 ya usse vi jyada temprature ho toh pyrometer ka use karte hai measure karne mein 👍
