Long story short the parents kicked OP out at 18. He got a little flat and a job he qas very fast fired because his boss didn't like him. The boss qas also fired and OPs resume was changed. He lost his flat lived in a tent in the winter. A neighbour of his parents took him in until his parents gave him a list with contactnumbers of their families. His mothers family is like his parents full of divorced aholes. His fathers parents took him in and raised him. OP got a stable job and as his grandparents grow older the sold OP their home to move to Arizona. A while after that OP had to leave for a two week worktrip. As OP comes back his parents are trespassing in his house and lied to the police about living there (they lost their business literally everything). OP tried kicking them out but a law I don't fully understand stopped him so he needed a court order. Then corona came and he had to wait until the order came. His parents tried to fight back the judge gave OPs parents 30 days. They even told OP they didn't have to pay rent because he also lived by them rent free. They moved out into a ugly flat(tried to make OP feel guilty didn't happen) and OP changed the locks. Time passes by and his parents get their business back because of an inharritance from his mothers dad who died. Now he is thinking about moving closer to his grandparents from his fathers side.

like most things they are different but mostly the same with few outliers that might make them "unique" it would take a legal expert with dozens of hours to see which ones are different between the states.
