The rhythm and bassline captures the funk element that characterizes early Kiss - e.g. 'Two Timer' and 'Love Theme from Kiss'. 'Love Her All I Can' feels a bit like 'Low Rider'. The warm and gentle tone of the groove harmonies in some of the other tracks - She, for example - render such a mood and atmosphere - the flute feels very Jethro Tull. The solo in the Kiss version of 'She' is based on the Doors' 'Five to One'. Like Black Sabbath, Kiss was rooted in the groove fusion of the period.
It's not the KISS sound but considering Paul was probably about 19 years old when this was cut, I think it's a really solid recording and arrangement. Thanks for posting!
