Nothing beats childhood treasures ❤
Absolutely, it’s what makes them more than just old toys.
You have that right, Geniuz.
We have got a wonderful video and collection here. Thank you for sharing PB
Thanks Andy, glad you enjoyed it.
Great collection, it reminds me of mine and my brothers collection back in the 70’s most of ours came from jumble sales.
It has nearly all of the staples of a good 70's collection, I could never fill the case I had. Thank you for watching.
Thanks for sharing, love the Redlines 🍻🍻
No worries and thank you Matt. Apart from the Odd Job / Mutt Mobile's missing roof I wouldn't do anything to them apart from a ride in the ultrasonic cleaner, they're all pretty good.
Great collection, I have that case too. Love this generation of cars too. Cheers JV
It's great opening a case and finding the contents match the era, lots of really nice stuff.
That's a nice collection of cars, PB. Your pal did well to keep them for all these years. The case looked in not too bad a shape, either.
It is Gerry, the case is pretty rough though with a busted handle and sides, but it's done the job for 58 years too.
Top box, top collection. 👍
It sure is, thanks for watching Axel.
Great video Peter, nice to see someone else's collection, there's some nice vehicles in that case ,and the case is in good nick as well.
Thank you Martin, lots of nice cars.
What a collection there Peter a lot to clean up
Yeah, most of them are pretty good, I'd only ever clean them up a bit myself, restoring them would just ruin what they are.
Awesome collection 👍🏻
Yes, some real gold in there.
Great collection!
It most certainly is, lots of great stuff.
I guessing Mrs PB think too much PB is not enough lol 😆. Cool cars. I purchased last year a guy childhood cars (24) in matchbox case. He only wanted $20. I live near redcliffe and he was in Ipswich. I trying pick them up like 10pm as I worried someone was going to snipe and offer more money. The guy was happy for them to go to a good home. He had a bit of a tear in his eye, as he handed it to me. I said r U sure mate? I had other guy wot was trying selling his cars at very reasonable price, but low ballers were offering him crap. After talking with him, that I didn't want to resell them. He gave them to me. They rome nice guys out there. Cheers Graham
FB Marketplace is a treacherous hive of villainy and scum-baggery Graham. Why people ask if something is available, told it is and then never respond is beyond me. I could go on forever about it, but won't. Thanks for watching!
@@PBsRetroRestorations lol. I biggest hate. Is they Hammer you down on the price, before coming to look at it. I tell them no more discounts. One guy I messaged three times and told him don't come and try to beat me down some more on the price. He came up from the Gold coast, look at it and started offering less money. I explained that I already gave you a huge discount. He kept going on and on I just closed the gate and told him the piss off. I prefer to sell on eBay.
Lovely. More unboxing videos PB
Thank you! I'll definitely do more as the opportunities come up, this was a real treat to be able to see and do.
Very kool
I know right? Nearly 100% great castings in there.
“My God, it’s full of cars!”
When Mrs. PB says stop buying cars, I’m like ‘I’m sorry wife, I’m afraid I can’t do that’ Thank you and thanks for watching.
Awesome,If the Matchbox Badger is Drab green,It's a rare one HTF and whats wrong with juniors ? The corgi healy came with stickers you stuck on,the matchbox trailer had yellow barrels, and nice to see, fantastic surprise video 😀
Can't say I've ever seen a drab green one. Juniors? I don't know, I guess I've always been pro-Matchbox. It might be their fantasy vehicles or something. And some of the later wheels. Thanks for the info on the other cars, I may be asked to restore some of them, we'll see.
@@PBsRetroRestorations my fault was guessing the Badger was drab green last night,my phone goes black and white on sleep mode,so not great to comment on colours,I see today in bright colour it was red,and do look out for badgers with purple glass.
Whaaat? No mustang? 😅 Awesome unboxing, very nice cars 👍🏻😎
🤣 I didn't even think of that Asko! Got a Ratrod Mercury though, but yeah I thought it was Lesney Law that all carry cases must have a Wildcat Mustang. Thank you!
So cool bro
So very cool.
3:30 back when designers tended to steal from each other. Wikipedia says the Citroen SM was designed by Robert Opron, apparently BMC and PininFarina liked the design as well. ;)
4:50 as usual the front headlights are missing. I used to have one of these myself and never knew there were headlights right below the nose, as they are almost always broken off... XD
8:55 whee, a Paddy Wagon! I have one in a very good condition... wasn't cheap, tho.
12:18 the Heinkel Kabine are hard to find with all roof beams intact, too. :) haven't seen one in ages...
13:44 I don't recognize the wheel design, but all in all it looks agricultural. maybe it's a Britains trailer missing it's tank?
15:00 yeah, me neither. ;)
20:50 Italdesign-Bizzarini Manta. Italdesigns first design (pun intended), running on a formula-1-chassis made by Bizzarini, hence the central steering wheel. the engine is one of the many Ford DSV Cosworth V-8. how I know? the original was featured in a classic car magazine I read long ago, so I read up on it, it being relevant to my collection of Fords and related. :)
owch, that poor Opel really had it bad...
interesting time capsule, indeed. usually we only find tidbits as collections are taken apart. this here is somethign special. :)
They are very similar Lothar. The beach buggy would still make a cool custom, but yeah the headlights are the first to go. Then the motor lol.
@@PBsRetroRestorations I wonder where the motors go. it's not like you'll find a box full of them at a flea market a dime a pop, or something. XD
