Yo homies, this was my request! So stoked to see you guys get to it 🤘 ERRA is a progressive metalcore band from Birmingham. Jesse Cash is their lead guitarist and also the clean singer, while JT Cavey does the heavy vocals. And YES lol I am in fact a big Tool fan. And funny enough, yes, the band are Tool fans and incorporate some Tool-esque riffs on their most recent album. Their song "House of Glass" in particular. Thanks again for checking the song guys!

Great choice, esp with the Tool influence as you yourself pointed out. They've got some bangers - for those who like this and have not listened to them yet/ looking for another band like them, check out 'Make Them Suffer' (I'd recommend "Contraband" and "Erase Me" as two great songs of theirs to listen to if you have not). Again, great choice Clef!

Yes dudes, Erra is top notch and worthy of at least a couple reactions. Jesse Cash is unreal with his guitar writing and his singing has just gotten stronger and stronger since their first album to now.

I just wanna say, I love this channel because you guys are always so open to music. You don't judge or have preconceived notions, you just look for the good in every song, and I think that's a great quality to have. A lot of reactors are fake and act like every song ever is an absolute banger and their favorite track ever, but ya'll actually seem real authentic with how open you are to music. Love ERRA and just wanted to throw in my 2 cents!

Erra was another name for Nergul, one of the Sumerian/Akkadian gods. You cant go wrong with any Erra though, it all slaps. Pattern Interrupt is one of my favorite songs from them.

ERRA is phenomenal. I’d recommend Nigh to Silence. That song is really progressive and highlights each member’s talent on an individual level.

Seeing as the patron who recommended was called "Cloud Cascade", which is a song by Invent Animate, why not check out Invent Animate's mini-ep "The Sun Sleeps, As If It Never Was". It's pretty long, with two songs and an intermission, but it's one of the most beautiful and haunting combinations of music and video I've ever seen. I daresay you'll enjoy it.

They're such an awesome band and I highly recommend going down the ERRA rabbithole. Particularly Divisionary or Vanish Canvas which they re-recorded with Courtney LaPlante from Spiritbox.

I'm loving the new generation of music where you get the heavy growls and then the soothing vocals mixed with and electric sound. The Browning woke me up to that sound. Carnage is sick!!! It's like metalcore mixed with EDM and a dash or rap. You won't be able to figure out whether to headbang or break out the glow sticks and ufo pants.

Hey Guys! A fun band suggestion is CrossFaith (Japanese metalcore + electro Gods) - Amazing live , I'd recommend their song 'Wildfire' featuring the Welsh Dub/Raggae Metal God Benji (from SkinDred). I think you two gents would love the interplay between metal, raggae and rap in 'WildFire'. In case of censoring, here's the link watch?v=bswkClwZxeA . Would love to see and hear your thoughts gents. Stay awesome. 🤘🤜

The Erra Epic was written in the 8th century B.C.E. by a Babylonian priest named Kabti-Ilani-Marduk Benjamin R. Foster, Distant Days: myths, tales and poetry from Ancient Mesopotamia (Bethesda, MD.: CDL, 1995). This poem describes the god Marduk as turning away from his city, angry with its people, thus leaving it to Erra’s destructive wrath.
