  • Most people, when suffering narcissistic abuse, are also financially abused. It is one of the ways that a narcissist punishes and controls the most.
Maybe that happened (or is happening) to you, and you believe there is no coming back after losing so much, or that you are too old to restart your life, or you don’t have any qualifications, or you are too broken now to have the confidence.
In today’s video I am going to explain to you, with clarity, how to turn it all around - even if your situation seems hopeless.

I wish you all the love and success you deserve, on YOUR terms this time! I also had to start over, at 55, after a lifetime of start overs, so many that I thought it was too late, I was too tired and broken. Not so at all. After escaping narc abuse, being sick and homeless, I spent 4 years going through a very dark night of the soul, it was hell, and I still have bad days. I may not have the exact happily ever after i hoped for, but I have myself back, and that is enough. I never really believed that before. Sending you love and big hugs.

I chose to give my narcissistic husband everything (house, household goods etc) even though the police and lawyers said I could get it all. I gave it to him because he was materialistic. I did manage to get 100% of my retirement fund. I never spoke of it and he didn’t know there was nearly $10,000. Even after the divorce I kept quiet since we had a child and were still in contact. I also chose to be genuinely kind to him for the benefit of our child and continue to be kind to him. My income has tripled and I own a home twice as big as ours. He no longer talks to me except at family functions. When he figured out I was kind because of our daughter he looked shocked (she told him) now I’m just kind to him. I’m no longer afraid of him. When he asked about it - I said - am I not kind to everyone- and you are definitely someone.

Thank you MTE. So very well articulated. I never dreamt that I would be grateful to the last narcissist in a long line of these beings. I know he came in to smash me to smithereens emotionally and spiritually and financially so that I would finally awake into the me I left behind at a very young age. And I am so happy I have given my past the flick. Allowing and receiving support is the key indeed. I trust that the universe will provide and she does.

You're the best. I found a way of reprogramming inner trama that is working. I take an experience in my past where I was disappointed and change the way it played out until I found a situation that brings me joy. This shows me the true me. Like.. When my much loved dog ran away and then reappeared months later looking so thin and ragged my Dad would not let me care for the dog because of fear of rabbies or something. My change involved me getting to care and love my dog. This brought me much joy and removing the resistance I felt about the situation. Keep speaking truth. Hugs

We are only 1 or 2 generations away from depending on men for our financial security. Most of us women in our50's had mom's that for the most part depended on their husbands for an "allowance ". Perfect example in the media look at Lucy and Ricky Ricardo LOL she had to figure out ways to make money through all of her antics if she wanted a new dress for Christ sake! I know this is an exaggeration because it was a TV show but I bet it's not too far from the truth I remembered my best friends telling me that she had a goal to never be dependent on a man because she watched her mom have to go to the dad and a literally asked for an allowance for anything such as hair make up clothes etc.
We've come along way baby and we need to start acting like it!

Hi Tonia, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your incredibly helpful and beautiful videos. you deliver them with such grace and truth and you have from the bottom of my heart helped me in the beginning of my journey of recovery from narcissist abuse (from my father) I was discharged from a psychiatric hospital (first and last admission) a few mere weeks ago, yet I have come on leaps and bounds. I have suffered with crippling mental health conditions since early childhood (bpd, cptsd, body Dysmorphia etc) so to you, you have been amazing yet I have never met you. To all those suffering from narcissist abuse, I advise you to subscribe, make peace with your past, and educate yourself by using cognitive behavioural therapy books, and embrace a positive beautiful balance of mind body and spirit. My narc future ex discarded me out of the blue one day via text after 35 years of marriage. He has mentally emotionally financially abused me for my whole life. He has bankrupted me twice. One of 9 siblings, two marriages later, now at 65 divorced by a narcissistic 60-year-old of 37 years of marriage, broke with 17.00 in bank, no job, no 401K due to his forgery, no vehicle as he sold Corvette, Silverado, Regal, and bought a street Harley and 2016 Colorado; I am going to go through Her lessons because there is no other choice. He did not get the house, one of 6 of 7 I owned, 4 we owned. I am totally broken.

Thank you for this video. Unfortunately, I'm not highly successful. I have a job at a college so my kids could go for free. But, it doesn't pay well at all. I do have insurance and that takes a big chunk out. My narcissistic husband ghosted me and my 3 kids (my older one is in college) two weeks ago with his paycheck, and now today he got another check and bonus that were not put into our joint account. He has all this money to himself and we have hardly enough for rent and bills, let alone food. And this is after he got three teeth fixed under my dental insurance (still on my health too). I know I have to take him for support , but I don't know how long that takes. I'm going to try to get help , but it feels like I keep getting punched in the gut every day. How can I help my situation for my children's sake, since their father obviously doesn't give a damn? oh this will be the third time restarting my life after narcissistic abuse, since I'm a codependent empath (yay me) and I refuse to leave the house and everything to him as I've had to do before, so living with a family member isn't an option. Please help ! thanks in advance.

The best way I can do that - to give you the most relief RIGHT NOW is to come into my free workshop - www.melanietoniaevans.com/freewebinar The only way forward Stephanie that is going to give you relief, is you learning how to show up for you, make your healing a priority and start releasing the trauma from inside of you That is what my work is about xoxox

      Hi Laura,
If you can go no contact, I recommend it. Sometimes we have to let go of some debts or material goods in the process. If you can do this, then it's best to do this because a narcissist will use it as a hook to gain access to you and try to draw supply from you again. Here is a resource that can help:

Hi Mel! Is this experience normal? I started my entrepreneur craft business 3 years ago, and it was going better and better. But i must admit I was getting more and more exhausted. It is the work i really love, but because i didn't have enough finances to build me a proper workshop, i needed to work in a cold and small place. It was a compromise i could take. I didn't know exactly where my tiredness is coming from. I found out about narcissism and all, and I saw how tired i am from relationship with my girlfriend and parents. I am not saying they are narcisists, maybe i am. But i started to feel a lot better. For the first time in my life i started having moments when i felt i was being loved by my self. Gradually i isolated from everyone. Literally everyone. For a few months. Although my business was growing before, after i isolated myself from everyone, like my business was cursed or something, everything stopped. I didn't get any orders anymore. My confidence fell to zero. I received many questions from customers trying to buy items from my shop. But 90% of the time when i answered them, there were no responds or any purchases. I didn't know what was happening. Like being cursed or dead. Tried all kinds of meditations. Affirmations, fixing my shop, reading articles how to increase the income as entrepreneur etc.... nothing...... i found your videos and they resonated a lot. Because my business fell literally to zero, i couldn't afford buying your program. I barely had enough to buy me a bread. But i was following all the instructions you are suggesting in your video and all free material that you offer possible. Thank you a lot for that. I knew what you were talking about. I am starting to feel a lot better. I found out things about my self i never imagined i would. I am seriously taking all the time i can to heal my broken emotions and inner self. Back to business: one time i tried to make a contact back with parents and ex, i got three orders instantly. It felt like i am alive again. I know it wasn't a coincidence. It totally wasn't. My confidence grew. It grew just before i got orders not because of that. But because parents and ex responded in a way that i felt confused again, i closed my self again. Deleted emails, blocked contacts and so on. And instantly the business fell to zero. Month after that, zero. Two months before zero. The bottom line was two days ago, when i received 3 questions, responded to all three and nothing. Like i was being dead. I tried all kinds of different ways to respond to clients. I think i might have some program in me, saying that "when i am good to relatives i am allowed to be wealthy" or something like that. My father conditioned every thing that he gave me with words: "i am giving you this and this and you behave to me like that?" And words: "you are saying this to me? God will punish you, you will see. You will end up alone, lonely etc..." these two phrases were the most common from my very early days..... used in various occasions over and over again.. my father was pretty wealthy all my life.... i remember that i was really mad because most of the time we spent together, parents spoke about money and business.....so i guess i have the answer?........and being so emotionally crushed and exhausted - any wonder that despite all my good intentions of being nice to customers they just feel my condition and turn away? How cruel.....in the times you need most of the support you get none.....i can imagine that i need mine first.............. Is my business experience normal? Did something like that happened to others too? Funny thing is that before 'no contact' everything was growing, after that almost complete zero. Thank you
