Never cut any fat off a leg of lamb or any roast, cook the meat first and then cut the fat off,the fat not only adds flavour, but it helps to keep the meat moist.
Superb, fantastic., delicious ! Roast lamb, potatoes and carrots cooked so perfectly ! You are an Air fryer Masterchef.! I love AF cooked roast dinner, AF is a great invention! I enjoyed your art of coking and presentation thoroughly. Thank you so much for your Excellent video ! Regards !
As with any liner especially the paper silicon liners as well as foil used in the air fryer just make sure to weigh it down with food to be cooked before turning it on and do make sure the basket is empty of liners before preheating👍
I used some I found in my freezer that was nearly a year old if it smells fine and still red it’s fine mine was lovely cooked it in the slow cooker tho 😀
Dude I just bought a second hand air fry that someone use once with no instructions watched your video 🤣📷 thumbs up for your video and that's exactly what I had shanks instead of lroast
Thanks a lot, you've tempted me to make this very soon. Lots of helpful info but I'm afraid, like so many posters, you didn't tell us if it was set on Airfry?, Grill?, Roast? etc I'll be guessing, when I try it, it should be Roast. I'll check back to see if you update the info. Keep on cooking, I will subscribe.
The lamb was cooked in an air fryer not using any of the presets like roast etc, the time and temperature was set manually for each of the stages explained hope this helps.
That was when Lamb was just about affordable, unfortunately its now the price of a small hatchback so it will probably be a while before I indulge in such luxury unless of course I do win the lottery in which case I will be having lamb everyday.
Jury is out , I'm used to doing mine in the slow cooker, full leg of lamb mind you . Might try this Glen, redcurrant jelly & mint sauce for me all over. Thanks for that, might give it a go .
did my first lamb [ half leg ] in air friyer , , followed what you did , looked great , BUT is wes tough and rubbery , can you please tell me what i did wrong
That looks more like a dessert spoon, because a tablespoon won't fit into a mint sauce jar Honey is a natural substance, syrup is just pure melted sugar. Nice recipe though....

I like to slow cook it, and then brown it on the outside in my air fryer on the highest temperature for a few minutes on each side.
Looks delicious 😊👍
Cooked to perfection, Given me the recipe tips for Sunday Dinner tomorrow, makes a change from having chicken
Could only see a quarter of the lamb when you were preparing it. Looked good though, I’ll try it tomorrow, just happened to have a small leg of lamb

Hi Diane I used the roast method as well as using a meat thermometer.. 👍

Where do you live? I want to come around on an air fry day....😂
It would be helpful to us if you could show the temperature and time to cook .
Or you could even read the Description under the video giving you a detailed breakdown of the times and temperatures
Get you Gordon.
