I always wanted to see "Pirates", "Sword for Hire", "A Man Among Men", "Rainy Night Duel" and "Downtown." At this point, I love watching any film where he is a lead 😄
@@kuezart9264 I have them all. I could upload them somewhere for you if you want.
I want to see his films but it seems impossible to get them in any way. I could dowload a few, very few, and some are on youtube or other online showing but after that:nothing. I have seen perhaps a dozen film no more.. how sad, I so want to see them all even thsoe that are not great..for him. Can anyone help me how to do that?
A lot of them are available on DVD, sometimes only in Japan. But for a good part of his filmography, it's only possible to see some titles through Japanese television broadcasts. When you know the right people, it's fairly easy to get these kind of things.
Check out the Criterion Collection! There are a few Toshiro Mifune films. Also dramacool.com
This compilation is awesome!! Thank you \^*^/
@@MS-uk7xf Unfortunately Criterion is not availbale in my country. I tried the link you gave here to the other but 'not found' came out.
@@MS-uk7xf Indeed, the Criterion Collection offers a lot of Toshiro Mifune movies, even some that are not on home video in North America. Such as "Snow Trail", "Vendetta of a Samurai" and "Samurai Saga".

Where did you get footage for My Wonderful Yellow Car, written by Kurosawa i have been looking for that for years
It was released on DVD one year ago as part of the Asahi Shimbun magazine lineup, exclusive to Japan. They released almost every movie on which Akira Kurosawa worked on in his career.

Handsome but strict person
What is the title of the movie whose music flows from 10:08?
It's the main title theme from the 1970 movie "Incident at Blood Pass", directed by Hiroshi Inagaki.

It's music from the movie "Band of Assassins", directed by Tadashi Sawashima.

6:35 What's that song called? Or what movie is it from?
It's a track from the movie ''Band of Assassins'', starring Mifune. In fact, all the music in this video comes from Mifune films.
@@francoiscoulombe7426 You mean Shinsengumi? Its hard to find the actual track if that is the movie. But i do have the movie downloaded so i guess i can re-watch it later to see if i can hear it. Do you know the name of the track though?
@@gokuta333 I don't, unfortunately. It's taken from a suite on the first volume of the ''Film Music by Masaru Satoh'' CD series, which is out-of-print.
