Great to see Mrs nutn out with her best friend. Sincerely sorry about the RA. Ive had it feom a pretty young age but modern and holistic medicine and shear will have given me the ability to halfway live a life my soul craves and desires. Currently fighting thru my second cancer diagnosis in 6 mnths and started chemo. Greatful we're going into winter and won't be missing out on outdoor adventures. By april-may next year, I vow to be back out doing what I love. Keep them coming mr & mrs nutn. GOD bless you & your family! Cheers!
Nutnfancy really knows his blades I like that design myself and been wanting to get one when it first came out , now its very likely going to happen 4 sure.
One recommendation when using this in the field: run a piece of 550 cord through the front handle tube to use as a strap. Having a lanyard in the front part of the handle is great in case something happens to knock it out of your hand. I've had a LOT of different big knives over my outdoor adventures, I like this one better than any others I've had other than my Busse Battle Mistress. About the only thing I'd change if I could would be to put an LT Wright "broomstick" handle on it, albeit with a knob at the rear end, and I'd change it to CPM-3V (1st choice) 5160, or or 8670 steel.

Nice knife, I have been looking for a longer blade for northern AZ because everything is spikey up on our homestead. Tendinitis sucks, I have that, or radial tunnel in my right (VA says tendinitis but Im suspicious) and it starts burning like hell when I chop or turn wrenches. I literally feel your pain brother.

I had one it's good for just grabbing your rifle and going knowing you have 2 mags with you but it adds unnecessary weight if you already have mags on a chest rig

I put a CRKT Ken Onion "Chance in Hell" on my battle belt. It's a machete also. 12" blade. 14" blade was available too. Good for cutting through the blackberry bushes and deep forest in the Northern Cascades NW of Spokane d00d. nutn know's it's Bigfoot Country lol. CRKT makes some good stuff I can rely on. Doesn't take a whole paycheck to buy one either. FIDO.

Put some linseed oil on the handle and it will protect the wood and give more grip. As for resharpening a convex grind, I strop mine on a paddle strop with some compound and that keeps it shaving sharp. Lol Mrs. Nutnfancy has cleaver fever now. My wife loves her Ontario SP10 Raider Bowie, she felled a 10" tree with it lol. A couple of days ago, in my area, the cops did a welfare check on this dude and found a bear eating him in his backyard. Damn what a sucky way to go.

Put some linseed oil on the handle and it will protect the wood and give more grip. As for resharpening a convex grind, I strop mine on a paddle strop with some compound and that keeps it shaving sharp. Lol Mrs. Nutnfancy has cleaver fever now. My wife loves her Ontario SP10 Raider Bowie, she felled a 10" tree with it lol. A couple of days ago, in my area, the cops did a welfare check on this dude and found a bear eating him in his backyard. Damn what a sucky way to go.
Funny you have trouble resharpening convex grinds. On the knives I make, I find a convex grind to be the easiest to do.
