I enjoyed the video! I've been looking for videos like these for some time now. I'll be starting my channel soon on the process of shopping and sending items from America and everything I had to learn because there isn't much info on here about Grenada...
All this should be done at the port. We often hear of remittance but is often glossed over. Grenadians must be able to vote in general elections regardless where they live. Millions are injected into the economy but yet have no say in electing a government. A Grenadian is a Grenadian, is Grenadian.
so they charge you for customs and clearing. Is that in USD$ or EC$? there was no breakdown on the difference between the cost for cloth goods and electronic or metal goods ? ... Thanks A.J. ... planning on a trip to Grenada on the 23rd of Feb.
Yes they did, the price was in Ec. There were not break down. A custom worker looked at the contents in the barrel and asked what it will be used for. He then proceeded to write an estimated cost for the barrel. I hope you enjoy your visit.
I don't understand why this administration cannot solve the problem. You have educated managers and personnel working for the organization, what's preventing them from addressing this short coming ??. People have been complaining for decades, about this cumbersome and inefficient system and nothing has been done about it. It goes to show, how serious, this administration is, about having a functioning and efficient system on the island. Ports are the 1st encounter visitors have with the country, what does that says about our system? Someone needs to be held accountable for this level of confusion, it's the pinnacle of baffusism. It's an embarrassment to the country.
