what do you use to make your distorted guitars fit in the mix so well, I've been trying to make shoegaze beats but I keep getting stuck at this, if you could give me any suggestions on mixing (post processing wise, like compressors and all) or like what amp vsts you use that would be very helpful

i would only add an eq on my distorted guitars removing 50-100hz below so the bass can shine in that frequencies and add a limiter on the master too. i think picking the guitar/bass tones really matters so try experimenting what sounds good:) guitar rig 7 is a great amp vst
